  • 0:04 pause and see the funniest face ever

  • Love your curls. You're making me miss mine! I'm currently growing it out AGAIN!

  • You have beautiful hair:)

  • LOL! I was on the floor when you reacted to the vinegar smell xD

  • Nice video. Apple cider vunager is excellent sa a rinse. Leaves hair very shiny and I believe it also closes the hair cuticles, if I'm not mistaken. However, lol, I think you used a little way too much. Plus I never used it straight like that, because of obvious reasons. I always dilute the vinegar in a container with shampoo. And work it around my scalp as Im washing my hair. I hope this helps for next time. I also use honey on my shampoo's.

  • pretty hair and loved that white blouse..

  • Your natural hair texture is very beautiful!

  • do you have dry or oily hair?

  • Beautiful hair sis, absolutely gorgeous, Thanx for the vidx

  • yeah! finally somebody that has hair JUST LIKE ME!!!

  • Haha you bold. I use it as a final rinse...1 cup into a quart of water. Gotta get the courage to try that!

  • Can u use it b4 shampooing to clean ur hair of build up and then use a conditioner? ihavent tried it yet bc iwantd to make sure

  • I freaking love your hair. You're gorgeous!

  • I use it to rinse after washing my hair. Specially if I have applied a mask (oil mask usually) before, then I can be sure the oil is gone. I hope the smells goes away tho, I used a bit too much vinegar this time and it stinks!!!!

  • Does your hair sheds when you are taking a bath or coming your hair ?

my hair does, alot... i don't think it grows... help me.

  • I love watching you videos and I love your hair but sadly I think my hair stays healthy and with minimum breakage with the least I do with it. So I've got rid of all the products I feel are no good even ACV :( and now I'm down to a conditioner I like, Avocado, shea, olive oil and twisting my hair each night and my ends are maintaining instead of feeling dry. Even though there are a few bad ends I left behind. But I think I finally found my Regimen. :) FINALLY!!!!

  • Okay so I figured this, I'm not washing my hair with anything, just wet it every day and use this conditioner I love as a way to keep it clean. Shampoo or ACV my hair feels dry if I try either. And I had freaked out when I washed my hair and tried this new gel and my ends felt dry and I thought I messed up the results I had got from trimming it and deep conditioning. But luckly the next day I rescued my hair and it feels great again.

  • lmao @ 3:15

  • LMAO, you're lovely :-) I subbed.

  • So you shampoo, avc rinse, then use conditioner?

  • how can i go natural fast without cut my hair

  • @864adrian the truth is you dont even need to trim/cut your hair to grow it its just you have to take care of it but lets say it you use heat alot you shud try using a realy good ahir oil treatmean in between!!

  • i like ur attitude ur funny :)

  • I did notice that apple cider vinegar is a good detanglelar..

  • did ur hair textur change from using the apple cider?

  • this vid is very useful since i am planning to do the ACV shampooing next week. thank u!!

  • from experience you need to mix that with something honey, to be specific 1/4 cup of vinegar and 2 cups of water and chill it in a bottle and use it as conditioner

  • I LOVED THIS VIDEO! i really did : )

  • You NEVER should use it full strength...It should be used VERY DILUTED...

one cup water with only one or two tablespoons acv in water.

Otherwise it will be to drying..HOWEVER ACV. is amazing stuff. I've been using it forever and swear by it.

  • Hey gurly, can you use distilled vinegar?i dont have apple cidar vinegar :-(

  • @nappturalguru no it does not have the same effect.

  • Just tried the ACV

for the first time. Almost blinded myself. It stings. But my scalp feels squeeky clean and fresh!

  • does it require shampoo afterwards or in few days..or it completely replaces shampoo forever

  • Wow a natural Black woman. I'm sure she's married or has a list of guys just hoping to catch her eye lol

  • I bought a bottle of ACV today at the market. Plan to wash my hair 2morrow.

  • Do you still use this method?

  • your very bouncy lol thats cutE!

  • lol i love when you said, " well my ac is a fan" lol I laughed so hard!

  • Im in the process of making my own rinse for my daughter. She's 4 and has crazy buildup and dry scalp every week. Will this help her scalp? At first I was washing with head & shoulders shampoo and conditioner then oil with Africa's Best Herbal oil, style her hair and be done with it. But by the end of the week, Im scratching flaky stuff off her scalp!! HELP!!!

  • Thumbs up! A sister taking care of her hair is SEXY! Much Love

  • When i use apple cider vinegar I added some African best Herbal oil and baking soda and added extra virgin olive oil and just just a cup of water it will be thick but adding the other things will cover the smell. once it sits for a while it has a great smell to it.

  • you have a pretty hair texture....

  • i like the way it smells

  • Hello when u washed ur hair with the vinegar did it leave a smell

  • @Sunflower2501 It didn't leave a smell. I used other products afterward so it was covered up :)

  • @curlychronicles can i wash my hair then do a protein treatment then do the ACV rinse ?..im not sure what order everything goes in

  • Comment removed

  • You only need a tbs or 3 in about a cup of water mixed together. Pour it in your hair and massage it through. Air dry and leave in or rinse it out. Good luck! :)

  • Im going to try to breath... (blink blink) and blink. LOL Love the video!! I may try this soon and try not to die on you! LOL

    Until the next video... Peace!

  • I love your hair texture its so pretty, i wish mine was like urs it looks more defined, my curl pattern is a little tighter.

  • Lady, you are a nut!!! And I love it.

I just woke up my husband when you started sniffing your fingers!

Thank you for this, I just found you so forgive the late reply, but I love you girl!!!

  • Hey i have the same shower curtain. I donated to a family in need when i was cleaning my house last spring.

  • great vid

  • do you comb ur hair out when u take the twists out and retwist it?

  • @jahcifarprincess no not normally, I just grab and twist :)

  • can you make a video of you straightning your hair so we can see how long it is?

  • I thought you lived in New York, there are alot of natural sisters here, and I am one of them and I love it!!.....your hair is so pretty!!! Love your vids!

  • HAHAH great video and at least you were honest...

  • you have to dilute it with water and try to use raw apple cider vinegar from a glass jar. Not the crap from plastic jars that are pasteurized.

1 cup to a quart, something like that.

  • @Denisehealthnut I agree use the raw apple cider vinegar i just went ou and bought some by BRAGGS gonna start drinking it as well as using it as a rinse with sage tea

  • The acidic nature of ACV combined with its potent enzymes can help scalp problems such as dandruff, itchy scalp, baldness and thinning hair. Apple cider vinegar also stimulates hair follicles to encourage the growth of healthier hair. Use rinse and shampoo once a week.-ehow.com

  • You're hilarious!

  • Lower!!

  • you got beautiful hair. i used phytospecific on my hair to blow it out and i hate it!!! no curls, just fro...and i wanna use the s-curl....u think its safe?

  • LOL You know the smoke - if there is smoke - in those bars or dancing joints can be the main reason your hair dries out. The apple cider vinegar sounds like a healthier way to wash hair than the usual shampoos, which contain detergents. Good vid.

  • No air conditioning? What? How can you stand it?

  • @Girlfishin I dunno, it was insane during some summers! lol

  • HAIR INSPIRATION RIGHT HERE!!!

  • I did regular white vinegar and my hair is so soft and shiny. I'm Hispanic and I have long curly hair too! I love it! :0) God Bless

  • I occasionally use ACV as a clarifier, however, I dilute it with water, and put it in a bottle.

  • thats going to far

  • can i use just a regular vinegar? Thanks

  • can it does it stop dry itchy scalp

  • ggggg

  • i like your videos.. i use the acv in my daughter's scalps when their scalps need the ph to be restored...love how real you are... :)

  • should you pre poo b4 using the ACV?

  • Girls you can also douche at the same time. I put raw natural ACV in my hair...and my hair smelt like a bag of chips for about 3 days. It was sort of a stinky smell you like to smell.

  • gorgeous hair

  • lmao! hilarious pretty hair

  • just now, i washed my hair with the apple cider vinegar and it looks and feel so wonderful, plus i added Cantu's Shea butter to my hair. all i can say is thank you so much for posting this vid about the vinegar! I I feel like i'm on top of the world right now!

  • You are so cool...I love watching your videos...I am going to try this apple cider vinegar in place of shampoo

  • Thanks!!!

  • to prevent dandruff and keep your hair shine without the smell mix vinegar with you shampoo, 2 parts shampoo 1 part vinegar. it also balances your hairs pH

  • I love your bob.

  • did you only put the apple cider vinegar in you hair with nothing else? does it really get hair clean without anything else? should you use a conditioner right? if you only use apple cider with no other shampoo, how do you get the smell out?

  • Haa..I watch your videos

for Hair Tips and To have a laugh..

    Lol =]

  • Lol, I can't believe you doused your hair in ACV. It's a wonder you could see and breathe. 1:3 in distilled water is great!

  • @intjurban lol

  • lol at taking off jewelry to wash hair

  • lol lol lol you crack me up.

  • wait so do you shower and shampoo first?

  • lol u look so energetic..

  • Can I use ACV rinse everyday? I wash my hair everyday, Im an asian... Thank you

  • Hey! My name is Autumn too and it looks like we have the same hair type. Funny! Great informative video. Thanks for posting it.

  • something to do with the outcome but I may just use this from now on, but i'm not sure.

  • oH-Em-Gee!! I used this Apple Cider Vinegar rinse today for the first time and I love it! I did a very TINY bit of research on it and they say that Bragg's is the best kind and that's the kind I happened to have so I used about 1/3 cup of Vinegar and 1 cup of water, even though I think that was too much water but it works wonderrrrsssssssssss! My hair came out better than it has been this whole time transitioning. Highly recommended! I also put baking soda in my conditioner, so that may have..

  • Comment removed

  • so funny... I did the same thing you did. Now we both know better, right? ;0)

  • You're so pretty and love your hair. I just started using acv and I mix maybe 1-2 oz of acv with 6-7 oz of water in a spray bottle--that helps me control the amount of liquid streaming down my back

  • This video is awesome!!! :) You should call is "ACV: WHAT NOT TO DO!" Lol

  • I didn't have good results with ACV...dried by locs out. But I have heard of people it works wonders for. I do use it sometimes to tone my face. Loving your shirt!

  • how often do u have to do this? how many times a week?

  • No Unfortunatly I dont think That works out. Lol But you can Get it at Frys in the Health Food Section.

  • aint that the same thing?

  • thats vinegar for salads?

  • lol ... you are very funny chcik!

  • I have seen another person in here use 1 table spoon of vinegar to 3 cups... I dont know if that will make a diff..

  • My hair looks like yours when I wash it. I have never tried using ACV except to loose weight with. I will see if it will work on my hair. Its bad enough drinking it let alone putting it in my hair. I hope it doesnt dry my hair out and make it brittle.

  • how does that work? loosing weight thing.

  • What I would do is make it my goal to drink at at least 8oz w/water a day. It helped me loose but the taste if very sour. It breaks up fat.

  • Try the pills. Drinking it will ruin you tooth enamel (so I heard and read). I don't know how fast it works...I just started but overall I read it is good for the body. After a month or so I will make a vid letting whoever cares (lol) if it really works or it it works quickly.

  • lmao! you're awesome

  • LOL you are supposed to dilute it with ACV.

  • I mean dilute it with distilled water.

  • OMG, your hair is GORGEOUS!!! How did you get your hair like that???? I NEED TO KNOW!!! Please send me a step-to-step-explanation. Thanks!!!

  • You are hilarious.....You might want to dilute it..... like a ounce of vinegar to 8 ounces of water..... or more or less....

  • You are too funny especially at 3:15 on the video. I'm glad I saw this bf I tried it!

    Thanks

  • You have an awesome personality and I enjoy watching your vids :)

  • i think i did something wrong when i tried this. i mixed 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 3 cups of water. but my hair was sooooo flippin' DRY after. i could not detangle it, at all, i had to re-wash with my regular shampoo. i don't know why it didn't work for me.

  • What does the ACV do for the hair? I use it for my face and it works great.

  • WHAT does ACV do for the FACE!?!?!?!?

  • adjusts skin's ph balance

  • I have been using it as a toner and omg, my skin is acne prone (stress and hormones) and the next day my pimples are noticeably smaller and just about gone now! ACV works great for your skin, my opinion though :) HTH

  • For hair : ACV clarifies the hair from build up from products you probably use.

  • Hi curlychronicles! I am a guy who saw your video and like your videos. You very chilled and relaxed all the time. I tried the apple cider vinegar rinse for a few days. Definately less flaking so thanks for the post. It definately smells strong but I dilute it in a spray bottle with 150 ml ACV and 300 ml water. Love your hair! I just posted a few videos a few days ago because I am thinning quite a bit in the crown. I want to hopefully help people out too!

  • U used way too much, lol. For every 1-2oz you can dilute with about 8oz of water.

  • How often would you recommend using the vinegar?

  • does it grow back hair lost from your scalp cause my hair is falling since a month due to hair color and to much heat exposure, and how is the procedure on making and using this shampoo?

  • I love your videos they're informative and quite humorous.

  • LOL!!! : D

  • nice.

  • I love your videos! Humorous, informative and to the point. Thanks! I've learned so much from you.

  • Hola autum Im Honey and im new to the natural hair game i sent u a video so let me kno if u got it k thanx!!!

  • Hi Autumn! I'm new to your channel and I'm kind of using you and your vidoes as my inspiration, especially after I watched your Intro video... My hair is maybe a little longer than yours was back in 2003. Any who, the reason I was leaving a comment on this vid... You know another use for that apple cider vingar... Fruit flies! We get a gnats every once in a while... If you fill just to the rim of a small container, poke holes in the top, it's a natural gnat trap to get rid of those pesky things!

  • Nice video. As far as the apple cider vinegar it is very beneficial to your hair. However you did use a little too much. That's why the fumes were so high. For the length and the thinkness of your hair, you should have used about 3-4 teaspoons and mix with lemon juice and olive oil. Excellent results! check out my ACV video.

  • i love your hair... i can't wait 4 my hair 2 get 2 ur length. Beautiful!

  • ACV is used as a CLARIFYER- meaning it should not be used as a regular shampoo... your hair WILL dry out. Use it like once a month to rinse out the residue from you regular shampoo. I'm serious. You should rotate two brands of shampoo (or keep with one) and rinse you hair with the ACV (mixed with whatever - Baking soda (teaspoon) ) then rinse with ACV after every 2 or 3 times you wash your hair.

  • How many times per week do you (co)-wash your hair??

  • your hair is so lovely, it's like mine 2 years ago lol i wish i didn't cut it. but i'm gonna try it out tonight

    thanks!!

  • Are you bouncing in every video? LOL. I can't tell if I'm imagining this or not.

  • Yes, she does.

  • I really love your hair

  • Wow your seems very soft!

  • Do you have any suggestions for softening hair? It might sound weird, but sometimes my hair feels so freaking hard and i hate that! It looks soft, but it doesn't feel like it. Please help! (lol) You make such wonderful vids so keep doing what ya do :)

  • What products are u using. U may have a protein overload. not to intrude, but it had just happen to me =/

  • Oh, no intrusion at all! I am always happy to get help. I am using a few diff things actually, but i check into the ingredients to make sure they don't contain proteins. I had a bad prob with that in the beginning and my hair was not just dry but very brittle feeling. I recently did a henna and had to prepare it with lemon juice so i am thinking that may have made a big difference. What do you suggest for dryness?

  • I like putting a teaspoon of salt in about 4oz of conditioner. Shake it up, and put in my hair. I leave it in about 20+min then rinse out. Then my curls bounce and it's very soft.

  • I may have to try that! How did you figure about putting salt in your conditioner? I always wonder how people find things out (lol). Another natural uses brown sugar in hers for curl def. Thanks!!

  • I did an ACV rinse on my daughter's hair after washing with baking soda and water today and it detangled like a CHARM with my fingers even after the rinse. I was blown away!! I had to come back on here and tell you!

After watching this vid of yours and one by MsBrice I finally bit the bullet and tried this and I couldn't be happier!! Thank you SOOO much!

  • i love your hair and i soo love this vid it was funny!! im still transitioning but i cant wait until my hair reaches this point. :-)

  • So would you say an ACV rinse is better than a clarifying shampoo?

  • Hey curlychronicle's just so you know ACV is meant to be a ph restorer and close the cuticles after clarifying (baking soda or sulfate) or using a shampoo of any type. People use it as a rinse after shampooing the hair then you can condition before you use ACV (it closes cuticles) or afterwards (some people prefer this instead). It is not meant to be a cleanser in itself :-}

  • lol funny vid...you are suppose to mix the viniger with water. 1/2 acv and 1/2 water. Funny!!!

  • So far I am a huge fan of ACV, while it did smell horrible, it left my hair really soft and encouraged my curl pattern. A bonus was the it cleared my sinuses ;) I followed the ACV with a honey and olive oil mixture that I kept in my hair for about 15 min. After I rinsed my hair it remained incredibly soft. My bathroom reeked for at least 30 mins afterward, so while your hair may love you, those that share the bathroom with you may be a bit peeved.

  • You are just too cute. I'm a new fan to your page! I'm a natural girl too! Keep up the great work!

  • From what I understand of it, it rebalances th PH in the hair, so it is excellent for people who have naturally porous hair that tends to be overally basic. So it acts as a neutralizer in a way

  • excellent video... I finally tried it myself today... That stuff smells sooo god-aweful >:o and I wasnt ready 4 the scalp tingle lol but I could tell my hair is squeaky clean... So I will do it again but I will be better prepared next time... Keep the videos comming!!

  • damn, you look like will smith's mother on the fresh prince of bel-Air.

  • Thank you so much for this tip.I used the ACV mixed with water after I shampooed my hair then rinsed a little and my hair became sooo super soft and detangled. Rofl for days I couldn't stop touching my hair. It is so soft like cotten. I have very tight curls and after the ACV my curls became very loose. I love this. My hair feels very healthy and now I don't have to put alot of product in my hair for my hair to act right. Thank you again for this tip. This have to be the best tip I've heard.

  • thank u soooo much just bought some and wanted to know how to use it

  • Hi Autumn, I use Apple cider Vinegar as a conditioner then use a clarifying shampoo to wash it out. However, I don't use regular ACV I use organic. And I don't use it straight I mix 1/4 of a cup of ACV and 3/4 cups of water. It still smells but not as bad but take into consideration that it is also mixing with the natural odors of your hair and that makes it smell worse also(sp?)but it is great! Hope comment helps.

  • Yea the organic one is the best. You can get it here in ATL_ fro those who live in the A.. and yes autumn it def stings..lolz so i know what you were going through... you mix it with water...hahaha you are funny..lolz "WOOOOOOOO"..lolz

  • Im a new Natural What is ACV?

  • A-pple C-ider V-inegar
