  • Microsoft said that they won't be trying to top the Wii U when they release the Xbox 720. And Nintendo has such a huge fanbase that doesn't care about graphics that they won't be dropping out of the console war anytime soon.

  • If Nintendo dropped out, Sony and Microsoft would have no one to copy.

  • Nintendo won't be leaving anytime soon, they got piles of money.

  • No. That Will Never Happen.

  • what is the song?

  • I feel Nintendo is doing great right now and would never go under and publish games for other consoles. And I mean, graphics? So what?! Graphics don't matter, gameplay does, graphics make games look nicer, but the gameplay's the main selling point of any game or any system, or at least it should be. And even then Nintendo's games have pretty nice graphics, just look at Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, etc. Nintendo's doing fine now and now that the 3DS has some games it and the Wii-U will do fine.

  • Ps4 having 100% better graphics? I wont bash you because of the date of the vid, but Sony's pres. stated that the Ps4 wont have a "huge" graphical leap like the Ps3 did, It would be more casual gamer friendly, much like the Wii

  • If this happens I'm going to leave this planet.

  • nintendo games would suck on the xbox and playstation consoles.first party games are meant to be on the console that its supposed to be on.

  • So back to the strive for complete realism in a game, I understand that at times, it may be necessary in creating atmosphere for instance in the CoD games, because it is war, it's dark and it's gritty. But I feel that games should be heading towards a more artistic revolution, that is, that they become an art, with the unique graphical style, the ochestrated music and the story, an artistic creation that can be explored like no other. Thankyou.

  • This is because there graphics will only be in regards of realistic-ness won't be all that much better perhaps more powerful with better animation frame rate and character articulation, but nintendo has always been effective with the games, for instance wii is weak machine and no HD capabilities, but Skyward Sword is graphically amazing, if compared to third party games on the console who don't try to do the best with what they have so I think, nintendo will keep their games looking just as good

  • There was some research done that graphics not exceed a certain limit of realism, that is, they could never be completely realistic. Now the problem with most companies, and perhaps it's the consumers fault is, this strive for the most realistic graphics, often the realistic graphics are used to compete, used to show who is better, but at some point, a limit will be reached, and no game will be outstanding I don't think WiiU will have so much of a problem competing with the next gen ps3 and xbox

  • i will love mario kart on xbox

  • Just 1 small thought. Rember Mario and Zelda have both had games for the PC. They were all pritty shit games but they were games on a non-nintedo product non the less. I think if nintendo ever went out of the console war... they might just put all their shit into computers.

  • @Snorlagg Only Mario had games on the PC and they were educational games and they were NOT made by Nintendo. They were made by a company called Software Toolworks, who somehow got the rights to Mario.

You're probably thinking about the Zelda and Mario CD-i games, which sucked as well. Those games were released because of an agreement between Nintendo and Philips after the scrapped SNES-CD add-on. And those games weren't even published by Nintendo.

  • @nintendowannabe Rember some games like "Strong bad's cool game for attractive people" was originally onyl going to be for the Wii and PC. However more recently PS3 and Xbox 360 have been hankering for it.

  • Continued from last comment-

    Of shame for failure consoles

  • These people are all fools they think the wii being technically not as powerful as its competitors gives it some sort of disadvantage which is not true! Look at the original GameBoy for example. It's competitors were the Sega GameGear and Atari Lynx, both which are almost entirely forgotten. They both had coloured screens and were seen as more 'hardcore' and look where they are now? Look at the Atari Jaguar, which was the most powerful console of its time and look where it is now. In the hall o

  • Actually it will be the other way around, Sony and Microsoft will make games for Nintendo.

  • @superbowserbros3 Ha! I don't ever see this happening. I'm sorry, but the Xbox, and the PlayStation especially, are not going anywhere anytime soon.

  • @the0real0realitykid If you think so, look what Nintendo did to Sega and even Atari, these new competidors are nothing

  • @superbowserbros3 One, I hardly call Sony a new competitor anymore. They've been in the market since the early '90s. And the Xbox has so much traction online, it's gunna be next to impossible to eliminate Microsoft from the market. Whether or not Nintendo is around in the future is irrelevant to the success of either Sony or Microsoft.

  • @the0real0realitykid I have to agree with you there, Microsoft is doing alot better than sony

But Nintendo will never drop out of making consoles

  • @superbowserbros3 Lol. Only time will tell. I'm sure that, if they can get the proper third party support, Nintendo will continue on stronger than ever.

  • @the0real0realitykid exactly! And apparently the Wii U already has praise from 3rd parties so I dont think Nintendo will be leaving soon... Not before Sony anyway

  • I remember when Nintendo and Sony used to work together.

  • Nintendo...is THE Pioneer in the rebirth of the video game industry in the U.S. I also think that graphics are really overrated, it's all about quality, and I think Nintendo is trying to stick to that, the quality that saved the industry and made all of us fall in love with Nintendo.

  • @RasenganOtoniel So Nintendo skipped HD just for quality? Sure, graphics are overrated sometimes. But, come on! Plug that Wii into and HD TV, and the games become total eye sores.

They got quality by building their console with cheap and outdated parts. That's why it's cheaper. And it has sold more because it is cheaper. Sure, first party games look great on the console. But MW3? Forget about it. Looks like total trash.

  • @the0real0realitykid "Plug that Wii into and HD TV, and the games become total eye sores."

You never played Tatsunoko vs. Capcom via component cable? That game looks AMAZING in HD, even though Wii is not an HD console!

  • @AllieRX87 You're right, I have not played that game. I'll have to if I ever get the chance to. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

  • In terms of competition, no. If Nintendo drops out of the console race, it won't have much of an effect on Sony or Microsoft in terms of competition because Nintendo hasn't been able to truly compete with the PS3 or 360 or even the previous iterations of these consoles. The only thing that Nintendo was able to compete in was price and sales. But if Nintendo jumps ship, very few people will actually miss them, and we will all keep playing the 360 or PS3. It would be nice to have a Zelda on 360.

  • @the0real0realitykid LOOOL!!!

    Nobody would miss Nintendo?

Ok your either a really REALLY bad troll or have no clue about gaming,

    Il guess both.

  • @Warrenoh Nope. Not trolling. And yes, I know what I'm talking about. How many people do you know really like Nintendo enough to care whether or not they drop out?

And notice I said most people, not all. This is personal opinion mainly. If you don't like my opinion, that's fine. But don't chalk me up as a troll or an idiot. I won't have any of it.

  • @the0real0realitykid Problem with saying that is that their are more total Wii's sold then their are xbox 360's or ps3's

  • @Snorlagg The only reason that the Wii has sold more is the price point. It is cheaper than a 360 and a PS3. The cheapest 360 is the 4gb model at $199, and the PS3 is cheapest at $299. I guarantee that the Wii would not have sold more units if it weren't so cheap. Besides, almost all third party games are released on the 360 and PS3, but hardly ever are they released on the Wii. The ones that are released on the Wii are never as good as their 360 and PS3 counterparts.

  • @the0real0realitykid Well then why are PS3 and Xbox playing Catch-Up?

  • @Snorlagg Catch-up? In terms of sales? I already answered that question.

"The only reason that the Wii has sold more is the price point. It is cheaper than a 360 and a PS3. The cheapest 360 is the 4gb model at $199, and the PS3 is cheapest at $299. I guarantee that the Wii would not have sold more units if it weren't so cheap."

  • @the0real0realitykid That isn`t really what I ment. They are playing catch up software wise. Also alot of the games that were only on the wii as far as consoles go. They have started to try and get into them as well long after the wii has had them.

  • @Snorlagg Excuse me? I don't mean to sound like an idiot here, but what do you mean software wise? The 360 and PS3 have the majority of the best titles, most of which are third party. The majority of the Wii's titles are first party games that feature characters used in every generation since the '80s.

  • @the0real0realitykid I am sorry I am the idiot here I got my terms mixed up. HARDWARE is what I ment. I know graphics wise PS3 xbox 360 beat nintendo however what I mean is that Nintendo's "Gimmick" of the motion controls the ps3 and xbox360 are just now catching up to nintendo.

  • @Snorlagg Oh! Those! Ya, you're right. They are just now catching up to Nintendo in those regards. However, I still think they are gimmicks. lol I don't care for the move or kinect. I prefer a normal controller.

  • Comment removed

  • @Snorlagg If Nintendo can't manage to get the same kind of third party support that the 360 and PS3 have, then the only thing that'll keep Nintendo above water will be the price point and gimmicks. That's all.

  • @the0real0realitykid You honestly believe Nintendo is irrelevant? Do you have ANY idea how successful Nintendo has been this generation not only with the Wii, but the DS as well? And ever since the 3DS dropped its price, sales have SKYROCKETED. Even with the Vita out in Japan, it's still selling very well.

Combine that with all their icons and heavy hitters like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, and many many more! Those games are still huge hits!

  • @AllieRX87 Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, and Donkey Kong are first party titles. Not third party. Nintendo hardly has third party developers' interests.

I'm not talking about Nintendo's success in the handheld gaming market. I'm talking strictly home consoles. The only success the Wii has had is in sales. Third party support of the console hardly exists.

  • @AllieRX87 Did I ever say that Nintendo is irrelevant? No, I didn't. I'm just saying that Nintendo needs to start getting off their ass and release a console that has HD and third party support. Not just gimmicks and a low price point.

In fact, I'm glad Nintendo exists. If it weren't for their entry into the gaming industry, console gaming would probably not exist today.

  • @the0real0realitykid The Wii U WILL have HD. Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed at E3 that will go up to 1080p.

  • @AllieRX87 Ya, I know Wii-U will have HD. About time too. I just hope that they can gather up enough third party support this time around. They didn't do so hot with the Wii when it came to third party titles.

  • @the0real0realitykid In a way, you implied that Nintendo was irrelevant.

"How many people do you know really like Nintendo enough to care whether or not they drop out?"

Last time I checked, there is a LARGE audience that care about Nintendo and them making consoles. The only people that don't are Microsoft and Sony fanboys.

  • @AllieRX87 Ok, then I stand corrected. I'm no fanboy, and I apologize if I'm coming off as one. I'm just telling you how I see it is all.

  • @the0real0realitykid Lol this guys getting scared for his beloved Sony look how many comments he's left

  • @superbowserbros3 I don't really give a shit about Sony to be honest. I'm more interested in Microsoft's endeavors with the Xbox.

  • @AllieRX87 I want to see them succeed in the long run. But, until they can compete feature wise and gain better third party support, all Nintendo consoles will be in the future are just useless gimmicks.

  • @the0real0realitykid

Nintendo hasn't been able to truly compete?

    hahahaha

Nintendo could make a uber power console if they wanted to. Sales prove you don't need a powerful machine to outcompete your adversaries.

  • @jasamdomo And how many of the Nintendo units sold aren't collecting dust? From my experience, unless there are little kids involved, not many of them are being used as often as the 360 and PS3 units.

  • @the0real0realitykid

Actually, both you and I have no idea how many Wiis are collecting dust.

Same thing could apply to a 360 or a PS3. There is certainly a number of people out there in the world who have gotten tired of even the more powerful machines in the market. This cannot be measured.

But yes, the 'Wii is collecting dust' fallacy is widespread, because it is neither lie or truth. It is a stereotype.

  • @jasamdomo [1/2] It's a stereotype that proves true over here where I live. All the people I know who have a Wii, hardly play it if they have a 360 or PS3. I'm sorry, but I don't ever see Nintendo consoles being marketed to hardcore gamers. Sure they've got plenty of decent or good titles - a lot of which have been overused in the last decade - but their console still lacks the capability to truly take on the PS3 or 360. Wii U might be a different story, but only until

  • @the0real0realitykid

Yes, where you live may be like that, but you cannot apply your anecdotal experience to a larger basis. You forget that many people only have a Wii, and game on one console. There are plenty of excellent games on Wii that you can only get on that system.

  • @jasamdomo Yes, I must agree that there are some good games on the Wii that aren't on other systems. I'd like to have a Wii U, when it releases, so I could play Zelda.

  • @jasamdomo [2/2] Wii U might be a different story, but only until Sony and Microsoft put out their next-gen systems. Then the Wii U will, like its predecessor, be forgotten by most people. At least, most people over around where I live who see the Wii as nothing more than a gimmick which was interesting for only a few months.

  • @the0real0realitykid

You don't know how powerful or weak Sony's and MS's next consoles will be. You cannot say that Wii U will be forgotten, since you're basing that off of nothing but conjecture. In fact, there is a great possibility that the next gen will be cheaper in terms of specs, seeing as how Sony's PS3 lost them a lot of money because the system was overpriced and didn't sell well for the longest time.

  • @the0real0realitykid "the Wii U will, like its predecessor, be forgotten by most people."

So the Wii U will be forgotten by systems that are most likely gonna cost A LOT more at launch if they're released early? Nintendo has a BIG head start with an up-to-date console. It's gonna get a pretty good amount of third-party support.

  • @AllieRX87 Maybe I'm wrong. But, I'm pretty sure that most people will flock over to Xbox and PlayStation as soon as they release new consoles next generation, leaving mostly Nintendo fans behind. Unless the Wii-U has decent third party support that is, and I have heard that Nintendo is trying to get that.

  • nintendo games should and will always be exsclusive to nintendo systems! it would be horrible if nintendo games would be on pc, xbox or ps sytems or phones, but that'll never happan, so we shouldn't worry. and people that actaly want that to happen are automaticaly disqualified from being gamers.

  • never gonna happen! dream on, nintendo haters :p

  • Hope this never happens

  • the 3ds is selling pretty well right now

  • @superpkmnlover wait until the ps vita comes out sadley

  • @bangasou12 Haven't you been keeping up with the news? The 3DS is destroying the vita in sales.

  • @jimmyelgringito so, wii had the most sales for its time and later people started to get ps3, and the vita just came out compared to the 3ds

  • @bangasou12 The ps3 is in 3rd place of the big three in terms of sales. Also, the vita isn't going to hurt the 3DS's sales drastically, if at all. The 3DS is blowing up in sales everywhere and if you read the news the vita is doing pretty poorly even if it just launched. When the 3DS launched (on a non holiday season) it still out sold the vita in the same time frame at the same price

  • @jimmyelgringito lets hope it stays that way

  • Why are your videos too interesting? I really enjoy them :)

  • A third party Nintendo would be WORSE than a third party SEGA, and SEGA still makes games that I like (namely Sonic because even in my massive Nintendo fanboy days, I always respected that series). Whether Nintendo hardware is weaker or stronger, their hardware is always tailor made for their games (though they do need to think about third party stuff too). If they go multiplatform, their quality will not be the same (in fact, I think it will take an even bigger nosedive then Sonic ever did).

  • Xbox original is the best! Xbox 360 too faulty, So I turned PC! I will be getting a Wii U as my secondary system I won't be getting the next gen Xbox, unless Rare start making game's again. 0=

  • It would be a terrible thing. The Xbox and PS3 despite some differences are more or less the same thing but Nintendo always breaks the mould and is a genuine alternative. I don't want gaming to stay conventional which is what would have happened if nintendo packed it in after the Gamecube. Good graphics can only go so far and you've hit the celling once you've literally matched 'looks like real life'

Small developers can't afford to make games if the emphasis is on high-tech graphics.

  • @SRPC21 My thoughts exactly. When you think about it, we really can't go any further graphically. All consoles since the previous generation are 128-bit, they literally can't go any higher than that. Even the current generation consoles are also 128-bit, the only reason the 360 and PS3 look better than the Xbox and PS2 is because they both have HD. The Wii doesn't, which is why the it's graphics look like the GameCube. The PS4 and Xbox 720 won't substancially differ from the 360 and PS3.

  • It wont feel the same it would feel like your a grown up and not a kid no more

  • I think it would sony and microsofts systems suck i have both and play xbox most. But the xbox community sucks they spoil all games like halo reach for example i think its the best game out at the moment but its boring online because of xbox live. Also sony and microsoft play it safe whilst nintendo takes risks. I do think that they should have added hd to wii though

  • Ok so i don't think it would be a bad thing for nintendo to just do games. The problem i see is that the way they program games is just for their system only.

Every game made by nintendo only is possible for their game controllers which means they need a whole new mindset on the games they make. This also means that there won't be alot of remakes of games.

So overall i don't think it would be a bad thing for them to do games but it will be a hard change and a very sad one.

  • I am not sure I understand your stance on this. But if I am correct you would not mind Nintendo games on other consoles? Interesting. No offense but I always thought you were a little bit of a Nintendo fan boy.

  • What is the song in the back ground

  • @StanleyDaLulz LOL Really? You may need a video game history lesson if you think Nintendo is just known for software.

  • @AGentertainment

A little rephrase I need to add. I'm aware that Nintendo is known for its hardware as well. It's software that just defines Nintendo, regardless if they're in the hardware business or not.

  • I think that nintendo are smart enough to see that if they are losing support like the wii is they change stuff so they Anounce wii u and say that darksiders 2 and battlefield 3 are realize titles that will bring back fans aswell as the hd Zelda which looked awesome

  • If Nintendo do that,I will officially be a retro gamer...

other than that,I think tha Nintendo would die instead of giving their games,Satoru Iwata is really stubborn...And that's a good thing

  • @rokemon101

    Same here

  • @bellakazza .....up

Silent Hill, need to pick up.

But anyways, so far Sony has done nothing but copy Nintendo, and bring out a few good games.

Nintendo has been topping Sony since the N64 and will continue to do so.

Even if Sony has the epic Metal Gear Solid Series.

  • If Nintendo dies Mario , Zelda and all the other die with they, they said that they will never release their games on other system after the D-i games were released

  • You know Sega is coming back right?

Dreamcast 2 coming out December 2013.

Apple will decide to join console wars and Nintendo will never stop, if anyone quits I think it will be Microsoft, Because it will never be up to par with Sony.

  • @boedanik BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! This made me L0L so hard!! Nice one dude!!!!

You don't REALLY believe that there is going to be a Dreamcast 2 right?

    Still L0L man, L0L!

  • Nope nintendo is still going strong and sega was in a totally different situation.

  • if Nintendo moved to Microsoft and Sony there games would not have the love like in the 90s and 80s and the early 00s

  • besides no one is going to buy nintendo games on a xbox, even the fans disagree with it,Nintendo focuses on entertainment for everyone, and microsoft and sony only focuses entertainment for 17 and up. If nintendo drops out the console war they will loose the majority of young gamers (9and under). But we all know that 9 year olds can get their hands on a M rated game, But the government made a new law saying if cop catches a child playin a M rated game, then will charge the parents 200$ Fine

  • I'm sorry but no its just does'int look right on an xbox or on a ps3

  • Comment removed

  • It is a bad thing. I don't want to pay $500 for my console.

  • It really wouldn't be. Because Nintendo should have.at least started thinking this by now. And I think that they would still be good as well.

  • Yes it is a bad thing, it is a terrible thing.

Look at SEGA now! They can barely make a good Sonic game!!

Sega is now a terrible producer of games.

Nintendo needs to stick to it's guns and keep trudging on, Nintendo has always been the best and always will.

The PlayStation and Xbox are not nearly as good as Nintendo consoles.

Nintendo is unique and quality unlike it's competitors.

If Nintendo drops out, I will lose all faith in video games and never buy another console again.

  • @bellakazza I doubt you can say that unless you have also played every console and atleast have 8 games for each

  • @sonicadx I have a PlayStation 2 with several PlayStation games,(At least 12.), my favorite being the Metal Gear Solid games on the PS2.

I do not have an Xbox though, I never found any games I was interested in.

Though I do plan on getting an Xbox as soon as I have the money.

But, even with awesome games like MGS, TimeSplitters and Soul Calibur 3, Nintendo still rains supreme.

  • @bellakazza I dont find any company to "rain supereme" honestly its opinion their all good in their own way

  • @bellakazza Its like why not enu\joy every game instead of one ? I like the jak series , God of war series, as much as I enjoy Mario Playstation also has its fair share of awesome games like grandia etc and microsoft has Halo , conker , and kameo etc

  • @sonicadx And I enjoy the MGS series on the PlayStation, but Nintendo still has superior titles.

I've found more good and better games on the Nintendo consoles then the PlayStation consoles.

Even though the PlayStation and Xbox have their gems, Nintendo has a chest full of them.

While you may find a diamond in the rough with PlayStation and Xbox.

It depends on how good the title is, to how much I enjoy it.

  • @bellakazza Well thats an opinion not a proven fact and not everyone will agree...

  • @sonicadx If you base on the fact that all games that Nintendo has produced have made more then any other producer of games, then yes, Nintendo is better.

  • @bellakazza Yes they do make their games sure but that doesnt mean sony is bad bro saying nintendo is better is an opinion many would disagree I dont like sony more but I grew up playing plenty of consoles like the genesis dreamcast n64 etc. Why not choose all consoles So what Nintendo has zelda ? Sony has Gran Turismo ? So what nintendo has Mario ? Sony has 97% of the MGS games. So what Nintendo has metroid ? Sony has God of war. I could go on No console is better then the other fagboy.

  • @sonicadx Nintendo is better because Nintendo has Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, MarioKart, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, F-ZERO, Wario Land and World, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid, Custom Robo, Donkey Kong, Super Smash Bros, StarFox, Mother or EarthBound, Pokemon, Professor Latin, Phenex Wright Ace Attorney, Animal Crossing, Yoshi's Story and Island and MANY MANY OTHERS.

Nintendo has done THE MOST to benefit the industry and that is why they are the best.

And how can you compare Zelda to Gran? WTH

  • @bellakazza Trust me I know of what your saying. God of war Jak Sly Crash Spyro wipeout GT MGS Silent hill Ridge Racer Final fantasy etc Are all good franchises... Why are you stooping to the level of a fanboy when you can just choose to enjoy all and like all equaly What makes PS2 badder then game cube? Nothing right ? So then whats the deal Sony has Grandia and ton of Just as awesome games half of them arnt on nintendo so their franchise list should be equal.

  • @sonicadx Fanboy? Come on, you know I'm not a fanboy, I HAVE a PS2 and a GameCube.

I say the GameCube is better BECAUSE of the games they have to offer, and what that console can do.

I TRY to enjoy them equally but I tend to enjoy the GameCube better because it has more enjoyable games, not because I am prejudiced against the PS2.

I'm saying that if there is a better console, it's the GameCube.

  • @bellakazza Yes and thats an opinion some people hate F-zero but prefer wipeout for some reason So no, Its not a fact nintendo is the best in the console war...

  • @sonicadx That's why the F-ZERO series has sold over 200 thousand copies and Wipeout has sold considerably less?

And has a lower rating score?

With Wipeout at 80% out of 100% and F-ZERO 64 got 86% out of 100%.

    Not opinion, but fact.

  • @bellakazza Sure dude F-ZERO has sold more so has the wii sold more but what about the wiis hardware ? Thats why Nintendo hasnt won the war yet...

  • @bellakazza Sure dude F-ZERO has sold more so has the wii sold more but what about the wiis hardware ? Thats why Nintendo hasnt won the war yet...

  • @bellakazza Wait GTA failed ? You know whatif GTA failed Screw it. I dont ven think youir arguments are credioble anymore GTA was the first free game of anykind one of the firstgames were you could doalst anything while still keeping realism as well maybe its not fantasy lands but its a good "life" simulator and GT was one of the first rtacing sims of its kind and they didnt do anything to influence other companys like forza or the ppl who made Saints row ? Wow you must really suck...

  • @bellakazza Im sorry but really just cause you may have grown an attachment to one console doesnt mean 99.9% of the earthes gamers will agree its an opinion it cant be proven most people prefer nintendo over any other console some will obviously disagree Trust me I love nintendo and I have a 3ds with the ambassador program But surely you know the difference between fact and opinion right ? Take a survey of a fair population consisting of all types of gamers no guarantee who will win.

  • @bellakazza But the survey will fail anyway as If you try with another sample of gamers it will be different Not all xbox/sony fanboys will agree with you... So no it cannot be proven if Nintendo rains supreme over every other console producing company its an opinion which is my basic point ok ? Havent you learned Fact and Opinion ?

  • @sonicadx Just because a certain amount of gamers disagree with a point doesn't make it any less true, fact is not based on what the majority believe.

It's like saying gravity can't be proven because these people don't agree.

    That is ludicrous.

Nintendo consistently makes innovations in the gaming industry, Nintendo continues to make great games and most of their games have changed the way we look at and play video games.

That is why they are the best, and that is fact, not opinion.

  • @bellakazza Sure what your giving me is a reason but gravity doesnt apply to this besides if someone couldnt telll what graity is you think they would even be able to say no ? anyway back to Nintendo still makes great games so does sony and thair devs and most of their games have changed the way we look at games like GT has changed how we should look at a racing sim and so on nintendo did save us in the crash which is good but the other competitors are just as good.

  • @sonicadx GT is another stupid boring racing game, just like all the other realistic racing games.

It's NOTHING compared to Nintendo's racing games like F-ZERO, Kirby's Air Ride and MarioKart.

At least THOSE are fun and original.

Jeez, you've lost all creditably by comparing Zelda to GT.

    PFFT, fano.

  • @bellakazza Thats like saying if you turn a cup with water upside down the water wont fall not all facts require surveys but this one does how could nintendo be the best if say no one bought there games then it would be that no one likes nintendo but you do companys depend on buisiness sales You can say its the best but can it be proven we already know Wiis graphics arnt up to snuff and you cant make users instead of friend codes and so on If the wii beats ps3 and 360s hardware its the best.

  • @sonicadx Your grammar sucks dude, it's hard to make out what you are saying.

We all know that the Wii's graphics are not as good as the PS3's or 360's, BUT that obviously does not matter, because Nintendo is still making better games and people are STILL buying their console.

The Wii's graphics are not horrible, just a step above the GameCube's, which isn't bad.

Nintendo focused on hitting the whole audience with the Wii and they hit it on the mark.

  • Nintendo dropout=shift of casual market to Sony or Microsoft= Increased competition for casual gamers=1 mistake from 1 company would mean another drop out=monopoly=Crappy quality of consoles= Poor consumer and investor trust=Video game crash of [Insert Year here]=Shift of hardcore market into PC/Mac games to Steam+Shift of casual games to Steam=Valve becomes fucking rich as hell

Well it might not happen like that, but the outcome will still be the same, Valve will become rich as hell. :D

  • Your face and body movements make me wanna smash your face in and Rip your suit in two.

  • @stringanime O_O .....ok

  • I already said it, and I'm going to say it again. If everyone abandons nintendo, I'll be their lone supporter

  • If this happens, I will never play any nintendo game on any other console except a nintendo console. It wouldn't feel the same playing super Mario with a ps3 controller.

  • I predict Apple stepping into the next gen of console wars.

  • @OrsonMyles same here

  • I wonder what the Xbox 720 graphics will be like? Probably a little overkill. But wouldn't it be funny if everybody was anticipating the launch for the Xbox 720 and... It didn't meet up with everyone's expectations (graphics only slightly better)? Or if the PS4 used the same kind of controller as the wii U? Who's laughing now?

  • @666blaziken I dont see sony changing their controller, ever, they'll just modify it a little.

  • @Shadow4757 but they made the PS move and that was a different controller, but yeah, they want to keep their controller the same if they want the rest of the "hardcore" sony fans.

  • @666blaziken yeah they did make ps move but the original controller is still the primary controller. ps move is an optional controller but i see what you meant.

  • its really not such a bad thing. The problem is that fanboys of every system want the other 2 to fail. Its really pathetic. Competition is what made nintendo do what they did with the wii, because of the ps2's success. Fanboys of nintendo want sony and microsoft to fail, and so do the others. Its pathetic really. I want all three companies to succeed because it will help push each other. Why did nintendo make the 3DS? Not because they were bored and wanted a virtual boy sequel. Competition is y.

  • and if you think psvita has any better chance then the psp did your wrong, its 250 anything will fail at 250 handheld wise and , hmm , seeing as 3ds is 170 -same price as dsixl ,

i think , nintendo has already won it has games by the time vita comes out can you tell me wheres psvitas driver renegade or driver 5 mariokart huh ya didnt think so

  • your emplying they did or will which if you havent seen the recent sales charts youll realise they arent in position to fail ! hahaha your in position how ever to fail an argument you started with this video , - nintendo drops out of console race huh hahah your a flop

  • I think you could argue that ROB the Robot was as much a gimmick as anything Nintendo has ever done.

  • @ScrapeTV that's true, but ROB also saved nintendo

  • how will Pokemon games work then?

  • We are eventually going to hit a graphic milestone where we can't get any better and therefore I don't think it'll fail

  • @TheVecan yeah, how much better can the graphics be?

i thought, brawl had realistic enough graphics.

  • nintendo has yet to have a failing console. as long as the wiiU gets at least some good third party support theyll be doing great. if anything happens with nintendo dropping out, theyll likely merge compays with someone not become 2nd or 3rd party cuz think of the dominence sony or microsoft could have with their existing linups third party, and nintendos lineup! but as i see it the 3 console race is good and will only get better if WiiU gets good third party support. some 3prty games as exclus?

  • @TheWBClive The "Worst" console they had was the 64. Yet it was still a damn fine console. I only say it was the worst because the controller broke more then any other nintendo console's controllers I have ever had. They had less awesome games then almost every other console they have made before or sense.

  • i doubt theyll ever drop out do to their popularity. as weve seen nintendo didnt go in ps3 or 360 direction and did very well. the others went in nintendos direction and now we barely hear about move and kinect was the biggest gimmick ever (I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST XBOX YOU FAGBOYS). nintendo has too good of a first party setup, if they hold on to the casual audience (which they will) and get support theyll continue dominating. the difference between sega and nintendo was sega had consoles fail.

  • @MrGamertastic ok, how about this Nintendo console, have always, i mean alway cost the least, and always will, Nintendo isn't thinking power, its thinking about a cheap and easy prince point

  • @AntRocksO7 I'm with you there, but if they went the way of Sega, they would go with Sony, i know that much but still, i agree with you

  • The Wii U is going to sell in Japan, because Dragon Quest 10 is coming exclusively to it, and Japan loved their Dragon Quest, and so do I

  • why would nintendo ever put there games on the sony system or xbox when the wii u will get all there games anyway .. 3rd party people is all they have .. the first party is a joke .. so why not have a video saying .. sony and xbox games on a nintendo console ?... WHY NOT

  • @MrAngland Sega ended up putting Phantasy Star Online on X-box and Gamecube when it had it on Dreamcast.

  • Well... Back when it was Nintendo vs. Sega, Sega was the more "Mature" "Hardcore" better graphics console, much like the PS3 and Xbox today.... And look at what happend to Sega.

  • @zeroxlulu Wrong. Nintendo had the better graphics and hardware even before the Mortal Kombat fiasco. After that, it won the 16-bit wars.

Of course it's about the games, but if Nintendo (or at least the fanboys) is making that kind of argument with the kinds of games they're releasing, then it would be very hard to find any new converts from those already with a PS or Xbox alone.

  • @zeroxlulu Sega went down hill because they tried to spam consoles far to frequently. From what I rember the stores always got the Sega Saturn after the Playstation versions of the same games

  • That's a very good question, Anthony.

Also, let me point out to you that I don't think the N64 was truly 64-bit, just like the Atari Jaguar tried to market itself. The graphics and the hardware didn't look any better than the PS1. It was just a marketing gimmick that Nintendo tried to present itself.
