  • its curtis baby

  • IT'S A GOOD THING THAT HE SPEAKS INTELLIGENTLY BECAUSE IT SHOWS ANOTHER SIDE OF PERSON ESPECIALLY BEING A RAPPER THAT YOU DO HAVE THOUGHT PROCESS OUTSIDE OF THAT WORLD OF ENTERTAINING!!!!

  • ahahahaha! thats jokes wat happened at the end.

    phresh jacket 50!

  • see the complete video: on pbs.org

i love listening to 50 cent. he is super intelligent.

not bad on the eyes either. hubba hubba. :-)

  • Such a dapper intellectual now, pseudo overtrained performance, at least Snoop still sounds like Snoop, this is just ridiculous, coorporation got him to whiten up to make mo' money fo' them, suckaaa in da club

  • i hate how tavis trys to use big words to sound smart when it shows a lack of smarts because he cant simplify things..... lyrical content, you mean a song, im gona make a video of pretending to be him then im gona have a translator of a normal person saying it

  • 50 is intelligent.

  • 50 cent is king!!

  • kayolekenya it iz a great piece of art u prik

  • This is so interesting to me--- I'm a late bloomer with 50 I bought his movie a while ago but now I want to buy everything he's ever made because of how good he looks in the video with kelly rowland- call me shallow but I don't ever recall him looking sooo fine Is it the teeth?

  • @wordsmith36 Lol. I think it's the fact that in this interview he is being a mature man and that's a turn on for any woman.

  • I gotta admit, he explains himself well, but with a bit of arrogance. Funny how he talks about his music like it's this great work of art. If only he could translate his thoughts and ideas, the way he expresses himself in his interviews; and put it into his music, he would have a better catalogue of songs and a bigger fanbase.

  • @kayolekenya

I understand your point. But if he translated his thoughts on record the way that he does in interviews it would no longer be a Rap Record.Your speaking of a Biography.

  • @kayolekenya if you watched the entire interview, he explains that it isn't a successful music strategy to do what you've said, which he has learned through experience

  • @kayolekenya I agree 100% percent. He's very astute, and truly knows good music. But I don't think he has musical vision and gut instinct. That's why I can't see him creating a body of work that is his own, and a true hip-hop classic.

  • Really, this is one-fourth of the whole video. You are doing this amazing interview injustice by not showing all of it.

  • A link to the full interview, which you can view online, is at the beginning of the video description.

  • Thanks

  • crazysoccerman14 got served!

  • I WANT THE WHOLE INTERVIEW

    Thanks

    :)

  • Personally I would rather hear "robbing and stealing" which is by far the most entertaining record hes made. Of course we are humans with different sides to our "person".

  • Keep with it 50 you had my support since 'nobody likes me' and the underground. Go back to your roots. For fun.

  • I don't think Curtis' lack of "growth, etc." has anything to do with fans and more to do with him. Plenty of artists grow and move forward and their fan base seems to grow up and move with them.

I think this is an excuse he is using to continue to do all that drama he likes to create and because technically he hasn't put out anything original, fresh or exciting in years. He's just regurgitated the same stuff over and over. That's got nothing to do with his fans. That's on him.

  • ppl gotta understand that fif is not like most of these rappers. 50's debut album sold 13million records. now compared to pop or rock thats nothing for a debut. but in hiphop thats legendary. biggies life after death album didnt even reach that. his debut album was agressive which makes his audience expect that. how so? that album is who he is,therefore, ppl will always expect that from him. now jay z and nas and all these other guys can make "different song", why? ppl simply dont belive them

  • "now jay z and nas and all these other guys can make "different song", why? ppl simply dont belive them" How do you mean? No Nas & Jay z can make those "different" songs cause their established theirselves & don't need fans approval & don't let their fans steer them into what they would expect thats why you have albums like "untitled" & "BP3".... untitled lyrically & subject matter/ awareness wise is nas's 3rd best album... BP3 was wack but still different for jay z

  • theres nothing wrong with him going back to his roots. why? he spent 24-28 years in that lifestyle. he spent 6 years in this one. to say that 2 albums can sum this timeline up i wrong. 50 has always been fresh. to his core american fans , he has not. if u go overseas fifty sent is literally god. him and eminem are seen as the kings of hiphop. his music breaks langugae barriers. those ppl follow the melody and chorus. therefore: the curtis album was made more meolodic. its stragety.

  • 50 lack growth?please. ppl gotta understand that 50 cent is a international rapper. there is a major difference between a intternational and american rapper. 50's music has to be melodic in some form or fashion. why? other countries only follow the chorus and the melodyy. of course some may say the lyrics but the melody is whats captured. this is why the cutirs project was as such. this is wy it seems fifty is always captured as this lazy rapper

  • couldn't agree more. an artist must be allowed room for their art to breathe, grow, and evolve. it's a bit ironic that his "fans" are(or he has allowed them to) restricting that growth and evolution.
