  • Nevermind. It's working now. :D. I just had to be careful with the polarity. Any warnings does it give if it's not connected properly other than smoke?

  • I did what you said, but it says "Connection Break" on the charger.

I have the balance lead only, do you need to connect both the balance lead and the futaba like cable?

  • Howcome you got both the balance cable and the Futaba cable connected and charging at the same time? Isn't that dangrous? Plus, which one is better? The futaba or the balance cable?

  • @muffdriver69 with the accucell 6 charger in the lipo function you have to have both the discharge leads and the balance leads connected to balance charge.

  • Can I use strong magnets to hold my battery together in series when using it, and when charging use a proper charger for these batteries? Will the magnets damage my RC circuit? Thanks.

  • @muffdriver69 Don't use magnets and have a look at the video I have on charging these cells

  • @BMSWEB Thanks, I think you got the Turnigy 9x and Charger from HobbyKing Aus warehouse, cause I got the same charger and turnigy as you. lol

    Any problems with the 9x?

I'm thinking of changing my 9x mode from 1 to 2. Also what does the charger use in voltage and amp cause it didn't come with a power adapter. :(

  • @muffdriver69 I have my accucell 6 charger connected to the 12volt leads of an old computer power supply and it works great. I also changed my 9x from mode 1 to mode 2. Very easy just have to move a spring and arm from the left stick to the right stick gimble and then change to mode 2 in the TX settings :D

  • i dont see a link in the description

  • @aggron195 Its in the description now :)

  • Another great informative video Paul, will be a great help to those that have the $8 Battery mod installed

  • @JollySwagman2006 Thanks, it been a very worth while mod. Loved it so much I donated to RCmodelReviews. We used both radios for over a month and they were no where near low. Battery life on the TX is awesome now.
