Review Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

this stuff is the bomb, depends what you want to use if for. I was wanting it for underneath my MAC mineralised finishing powder to add a bit of a sheen/glow and this stuff does it perfectly. Don't go overboard because it does seem to be an illuminiser with a bit of colour and coverage, I use Natural Radiance (medium I think) over my moisturiser and then put a bit of MAC powder over the top. I found it stayed on pretty much most of my work day. It's expensive but worth it!!

@BeautyMia245 I would say it does not stay as long as a reg founadtion but it will depend on your skin type- oily skin less staying power- dry skin more staying power

I dont wear makeup at all..nor i feel the need to..i cover up my under eye cirlces except that i any makeup. but i really want to buy an illuminating tinted moituriser for that dewy natural glow without looking cakey..could you please reccommend which one to go for? @UnnamedRed if you are looking for something with less coverage than most foundations I would suggest MAC face and body or Peter thomas roth un wrinkle- they are better for oily skin! I dont use the illuminating one because it makes me look oily!

@Sweetienna unfortunetly I dont know eitehr line well enought to be able to color match you without seeing your skin and the product! Sorry! Just remember the TM's you need a shade darker usually cause of the moisurizer in them- they are way thinner!

I've got super oily skin and I want light coverage, and I love the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, but I'm running out and it's quite expensive. Is there something similar for a lower price? I tried a couple drugstore brands & the Sephora brand, but everything else that contains SPF feels sunscreen-y and greasy.

Hi, do you know the difference between this LM tinted and the oil free? I have combination dry all around my face and a liitle oily in my T-zone and part of my cheeks.Also, I always use sunblock but the one I use, it makes my foundation and face concealer a little patchy (I use Skinceuticals ULTIMATE defense SPF30, recommended by he dermatologist) which one do you use?. Thanks for your videos. Cause ur video about St Moriz/Tropez I decided not to get Moriz but Trope. Thanks

I think the main difference is the oil free part. I use the MAC Prep and Prime spf 50 because it is a primer with a high spf in it! Love it! Glad you like the St Tropez too! :o)

usually i moisturize first and then use mac's prep and prime spf 50. but, since this moisturizer is tinted, do you still use it before the primer?

I use the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Foundation without the illumination and love it! I switch back and forth between MAC Studio Sculpt and this one.

They are both good if you need light coverage as I do.

I have two shades of the Laura Mercier tinted, nude and sand. I had bought the kits that included the foundation and camouflage pots. If I mix the two it is perfect for my shade right now. I disliked the Stila, so now I have been mixing a bit of it with the Chanel Mat.

I really like the Laura Mercier but even the darkest shade in the illuminating moisturizer makes my face my look too glowy, so I use it as a highlighter mostly.

Hi, nice review! I didn't care for Stila as well, it was fine for me upon first application but then my skin would begin to sting. I never had that experience with any foundations & I never bothered to write down the ingredients to sort out the problem. I will give LM a try looks great for Summer wear.
