Based on all the commentary I've seen on here from this video's helpful critics, mastering the Sixaxis controller in 2008 required you to kill the part of your brain that oversees spelling, grammar, and the ability to use periods.

Hopefully, newer versions of the controller have ironed out that bug.

I totally agree. Ratchet and Clank Future has some parts that rely on the Sixaxis accelerometer and it completely ruins what would otherwise be an interesting and enjoyable part of the game.

I'm mostly thinking of the Tornado gun here but there are other examples as well.

A good point, though I think that having to use the tilt function to aim a grenade is just asinine; the damn thing has joysticks on it; why not allow the player to use those, like on pretty much any other system whose controllers feature joysticks (like the previous Playstation models)? I mean really, the PS3 controller is almost exactly the same as those for the PS and PS2. SONY only included the SuxAsses feature to compete with the Wii, but most developers didn't bother programming for it.

This isn't the controller's fault. Wouldn't blame it on the player either but on the game.

There are games that are well programmed for the six-axis, such as Lair, a game in which you fly riding on a dragon, and the controls are very intuitive indeed.

Theyve been using it for 10 years now, it hasnt been designed for modern games, and lacks alot behind the 360 controller.

There is a reason why the Xbox controller and Halo CE revolutionized the vision of 1st/3rd person shooting on the consoles. It works.

The playstation 1 never did it, the playstation 2 obviously didnt fo it, and the PS3 still uses the same controller with some extra sensors.
