hi, i really found this video to be helpful! i just bought an iron gym today and was playing around with it. its going to do a lot of good for me. just curious, do you use weights at all, or just straight calisthenics? my goal is to trim away some mid-section fat and be about as toned as you. i just wonder if doing these workouts is enough to accomplish it without spending money on wieghts. p.s. thanks for the apology for the boxer shorts lol. its ok. :)
@pabitoz i found out it is really hard to do more than two pull-ups lol. i am trying to keep a routine though. its easy to lose interest in the workouts since it is a slow process. but within two weeks i noticed my arms are a little harder and slightly bigger. i rotate between pull-ups, push-ups, and dips. also do squats to even out the body. push hard until you cant anymore. as weeks go by you notice you can do a little more and you increase the intensity. eat protein!
@checkfoldcallraise sounds like it's working out for you. i just got one and was able to do several exercises as I've been practicing pull ups at the gym. i'm going to try to use this bar when i don't have enough time to hit the gym or after hard cardio sessions. thx for your input
@Iamorton no it will not, the pull up bar itself can sustain wieghts up to 250lb, not sure how many kg ... but i reckon its less than 80. however, chose the place you hang it from correctly, make sure the WALL can sustain your wait, and expecially when youre hanging, because it adds more downward force on the pullup bar
just wondering if you could help me out. i have just got the bar but i have reviously tried to do gym workouts for 3 months in a row and never gained muscle. i was hoping you could help me with a workout plan that would help me gain tone and muscle using this door gym. please email me on pbridges2003@hotmail.co.uk or add on msn
i recently bought this and just realized my door frames inside the wall not outside. Where else can i put this pullup bar? any ideas? much appreciated.
I think you might want to try a mic. Just so when your away from the camera we can hear you. You could try workout clothes instead of jeans for a better fit. You could try filming when you roommate (flatmate) isn't home, just so there are no interruptions. Your videos are full of good information, just not very professional. Well that's just what I thought. Thanks
@mrbear1302 argh sorry I know! Normally I can talk that quietly and it picks it up, unfortunately this is a new cam. Didn't notice until I'd uploaded... Hopefully though most of it doesn't really need me blabbering over it!

@Iamorton
No. I have a pretty flimsy door frame and it holds my 86kg with ease.
