Clever advert. Well done and comical. I have to agree with markdehamel...though.
What I will admit is this ad shows, perhaps without even meaning to, is how not to wear leather trousers: i.e. as if they were Dockers. Pair the leathers with a dark sweater or sweatshirt, and perferably don't tuck it in. Tucking lets the leather trousers dominate the ensemble too much, which is what raises eyebrows. However, letting the top come over the belt evens things out a lot and looks very sharp.
I think you should tuck your top into leathers, as long as you dont have a big gut. I wear mine tucked in all the time, and I think I look pretty good, but then I am a gym addict, also I happen to be straight before anyone jumps to any conclusions about leather only being for gay guys.
I have to agree with you. I think I just saw a few pics of leather trousers with tucked shirts, and something wasn't working. But yes for sure, tucked can work very well. I'm totally straight too, by the way, but I can't get enough of wearing leather trousers. They're the best kept secret in the fashion word [save for amongst celebs, rockstars and some other countries]

Cool!
But you don't have to be *midlife* to wear leather trousers!
You just have to like wearing them!
