  • Thanks for uploading this. It's great to hear the song without the Spector nonsense.

  • my parents grew up with the greatest music and artists during the 60's 70's i got the tail end of it in 77 and throughout the 80's

  • I love Lennon's funky bass line! @_@

  • the same take from Let It Be without the orchestation

  • Damn, I would've been pissed, too, if in Paul's position; don't get me wrong, I love John, but he had no right to give the tapes to Spector. The original has always been my favorite, and is what PAUL intended the song to sound like.

  • i remember when i had this casette, a long long time ago

  • Questa è un'opera del secolo scorso Paul McCartney è un genio

  • I NEVER GET TIRED OF LISTENING TO THEM.I COULD LISTEN TO THEM ALL DAY LONG!

  • THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER BAND LIKE THE BEATLES!

  • @paullove1959 Amen

  • @paullove1959

    LIES!

  • This song has some significant meaning in my life and I'm not sure what that is. It seems as if there is a message in this song. It speaks to my soul as if something is not complete yet. Such meaning and depth. It taunts me, it has for years.

  • @theloveofpoetry Perhaps you may find answers to your queries in Swami Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada's book The Science of Self Realizaton. Take a look.

  • I like this posting, it has a depth and dimension missing from other posts of this song/artist combo.

  • the only song that was better because of spector i cant believ i just said that but phil did a good job with only one song and that is this

  • This one is a different take than the Let it be Naked version. I like this one.

  • @jake1052003 this is the mix of Glyn Johns. This take of "The Long and Winding Road" are in Anthology 3.

  • @Amigo1580 Thanks, I should have known that. I must go back and have another listen.

  • So much better without Phil Spector's influence. This version is a masterpiece.

  • @pervysage35 Ahh, that's what I thought. Thanks. :)

  • What's that bit at the end? :O

  • @AverageJodi

its a part of get back

  • Before Phil Spector added the orchestra and back up singers.

  • You left me standing here

  • tottally awsume!

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • Whenever I hear those angels' voices , I remain speechless! The greatest musicians ever! The Beatles will live forever!

  • what a long and winding road in music, from "i want to hold your hand" to this in six years :)

  • I'm pretty sure this version is on Anthology 3 too, but it doesn't have the echo after every lyric like this version has.

  • paul sounds so sad in this song

  • wow... that was... wow. beautiful

  • John: "Are we supposed to giggle in the solo?"

    Paul: "Yeah"

lol they don't laugh to they?
