  • How does AVEC figure that this has less parts than a conventional engine?

  • @TheEgoblitz Well, the poppet valvetrain part count is huge, thus it shaves those numbers exponentially, however, less parts doesn't always mean less weight...

  • What I like about this engine is its "simplicity"... I'm being sarcastic. Compare to stirling or, why not, an ac induction motor. Really.

  • @hcanuck7 similar design is. they use a swashplate motor run by compressed air.
