I have a 1999 EX with D16Y7 and this car is a beast ! +300K on it and work as new !.. The only thing I hate from day one since I do my oil change myself too is the location of the oil filter... The engineer who decided to place the oil filter there should be slam in the face with a shovel !

@mrpr1ngles except the Fram Extended Guard, those are actually great filters. However they are quite expensive. Not to mention he must've got ripped off and someone put the cheaper Extra Guard filter in the Tough Guard box.. lmao fail..

i always hand tighten the filter so it comes off easier the next time... it has a big ass rubber seal its not going to leak or come loose

@dan110024 Yaa! It's super easy! Glad to have shown you how. I'd recommend the standard oil-filter wrench to make it just a little more easy.
