if i was in NASA and up there in the space station... i would sooooo play this with headphones in a space suit hovering over earth like in the classic picture...
@manofsuds7 Its not Shpongle as a few have mentioned already. It is Alan Parsons + Simon Posford + David Gilmour. The only correction I am making is listing the collaboration with Simon P. not Shpongle, as I am pretty sure Raja Ram didnt have anything to do with this.
Amazing track. Too bad the title is incorrect. Also, if anyone is curious about Tunguska: Look up The Tunguska Event on Wikipedia. :)
@vitale00 funny you say that. i just did some research into it.. and this is alan parsons, shpongle, AND david gilmour on guitar! no wonder it sounds like pink floyd. wow, what a combo eh?
Simultaneously primordial and futuristic, yes, let's return to the Tungus! Our origin-al self recognizes the past and the future... nice music, great video effects too :)
could someone tell me what album this is from? i have the majority of Shpongle stuff but i believe im missing this, what album is it from? thanks people
@xadriancito69 fuck u a homosexual... u must be part of those 138 gay idiots... why dont u just a buy urself a whore dumbass... and let her fuck u in the ass cuz ur so gay about it
Not Shpongle alone, true, but they were definitely one of the ones who worked on it, along with some other guy. So putting their name on it is valid. Just like, say, putting Juno Reactor's name on the song "Welcome Back" from PoN is quite valid.
This song is actualy a collaboration between Alan Parsons and Shpongle. But of coarse Shpongle stands out more than any other sound could ever attempt to. Shpongle could make Miley Cyrus sound mind numbing, so even though its a collaboration with Alan Parsons I give Shpongle most of the credit.
Simon is 90% of Shpongle, I know Raja(or any of the other musicians they used) wasn't in this collaboration. But I didnt know David Gilmour was involved, thats interesting.
I read in the comment's there is more then just shpongle in this track. I can hear shpongle at times and other times don't hear them. If this was 100% a shpongle track it would sound like something more from the 1st cd in my opinion. Gr8t video.
No; this is a theme from an Alan Parsons album, A Valid Path, released on 2004 and 2006 (Dual Version); The album has many collaborations, Shpongle in this theme.
