My Imperial Guard Army part 1.

In my space wolf army I have 10 wolf guard terms 5 tack spds two land raiders 1 land speeder 1 dev sqd 1 pred 2 razzer back 2 rune priests a wolf lord a baneblade and a shadow sword comes to 4000pts

hey dude. im thinking of finally getting aroud to starting that guard army i said i would do, the only problem is it will be heretic guardsman since i liked the john blanch skaven guardsmen idea. what would you suggest for a 1000 point list. i only want veteren squads, and i want my hqs to be primaris psykers. other than that, the only other thing i want in there are probably them leman russ bad asses, but i only want 2 at the most. if u can message me a list that would be great. thanks.

@Mr12toe Well, Imperial Guard have very good armour, so you will need to buy a lot of tanks. Their infantry however, are weak, so you will need great numbers of about 100+. Hope this helps :D

get yourself a valkyrie or 2, and lets not forget another chimera, 1 more basilisk, and a build yourself 2 heavy bolter turrets *stationary*, cuz apparently your playing apocalypse, you need full scale war

Not really. (i have 3 now by the way) Super heavies die easily (usually get immobilized) because they are a primary target.

Its true my Hellhammer was immobilized in the first turn, although it did manage to a shoot a stompa to pieces, cause an apocalyptic explosion and kill a Tau devilfish half a squad of fire warriors a monolith and half a phalanx of necrons, :D

It wasn't that much, about a fourth of it was from gifts, Its just the Super heavies that make it seem more expensive than it is.
