@PhilTheEar He has a Shure SM58 it has built in compression also sound's like they have a condenser on him. My SM58 can pick me up talking regular upstairs in the kitchen from my desk at least 60 feet away from the stair's but isn't overbearing when I get up close. Trick is in the mic.
