@carlberg2006 Agreed. Dubbing is usually pretty horrible (no matter what language they're dubbing for and over), but when you think about it, it's easy to see why - money. They've already got the movie, so the only additional cost is the dubbing. Cut costs on that, increase profit margin. End result sucks? Oh well! People will buy it to see the movie anyways.

i would say you are joking or haven't seen enough dubbed movies. nearly every actor or actress from USA have their own german voice actor. there are directors like Scorsese who make a point of it and mean that guys like DeNiro (Christian Brückner) , Pacino (Frank Glaubrecht) , Willis (Manfred Lehmann), Nicholson (Joachim Kerzel) and Hopkins (Rolf Schult) sound much better in German than in the original.
