  • As a Packers season ticket holder/2008 nfc championship attendee I can say I feel bad for Vikings fans

  • THIS IS NOT DETROIT, ITS THE SUPER BOWL

  • why did he throw that???....that is a throw a rookie would make, you never throw across your body...people say if he would of ran..he would of got like 10 yds...i would say he might up got like 4 to 5....but that would of made it a 50 yd or so...which in a dome is not automatic but very doable

  • YOU CAN TRY A 56 YARD FIELD GOAL

  • NFC North Rodgers had one less TD then Brees. Rodgers had 45 Tds and 6 ints. Brees had 46 Tds and 14 ints so he did double the ints that Rodgers had. In my mind the reason Brees was the clear MVP is The Packers s without Rodgers still won and looked good doing it. Nothing against Chase Daniel but without Brees well I don't even wanna go there. Also Brees broke I'm sorry obliterated one of the most prestigious records in the NFL. Which stood for 27 years.

  • @BPC1980 Truth

  • @BPC1980.....what both QB's did was incredible but Rodgers deserved it more than Brees and if he played the last week vs the Lions he would of probably broken Brady's 50 TD record... and just because Flynn for one game came in and tore up a crappy Lions defense...doens't mean Aaron Rodgers isn't good...I bet Chase Daniel could be a 3-4 thousand yd passer with the weapons Brees has also...the Pack were 1 shitty game vs KC from being undefeated.....im sorry but A rod was the rightful MVP

  • @BPC1980 Brees shouldn't have been MVP. What would you rather have? 45 TDs and 6 Ints? Or 1 more touchdown, and 8 more interceptions? Also...I don't think Rodgers had the privilege of playing in a dome. In the regular season, Brees played in a dome 10 times, 8 at home, 2 on the road. Rodgers played in a dome ONCE. Brees had an advantage of throwing for more yards. Also, if you want to look at record, Packers had the better record.

  • @BPC1980 You also cannot assume that Chase Daniel wouldn't have been good. Before the game, people weren't expecting Flynn to set franchise records with 6 tds and 480 yards. Flynn isn't some all star yet, he may be one day, but not yet. You cannot say the Saints without Brees wouldn't have looked good until you see it. If Flynn laid a goose egg, and the Packers looked like shit, are you saying Rodgers then, should have won MVP?

  • the commentators are vikings fans

  • @stackguy5674 No shit Sherlock. Its a Minnesota radio station...

  • "Why do you even ponder passing?" Two years later, Christian Ponder is their starter.

  • If this was the last game of his career, then his last throw with the Packers, Jets, and Vikings would have been an interception.

  • Vikings were the better team. It's a shame it ended like this.

  • I can tell who had money on the Vikings.

  • I love how the Vikings became the new Lions this season. This is not Minnesota, this is the Super Bowl!

  • Oh shit lmfao....I love this.. the announcer at the end is priceless.

  • @BossThugington The Packers actually dont have the best roster in the league. But they are very good. I was stating to Phooj99 that Packer Fans who don't appreciate what Favre has done for the packer organization.

  • I was shocked by this play and I'm a Giant fan. If I was a Viking fan, I would've thrown up.

  • Only way this could've been better would've been for Farve to be playing for Dallas and have Jerry Jones in the box watching.

  • @lindav1b Word

  • @lindav1b Tebowing

  • As much as I hate Farve and LOLd at this play, Vikes did get hosed on the no-call roughing the passer earlier in the game. That said, Chilly f'd it up by having 12 men in the huddle out of a timeout on the prev play and Farve easily could've run the ball out of bounds and it's a 47 yarder indoors for the win.

Inexcusable, plus he's throwing across his body into coverage while running the other way. There's no other QB in history with even half of Farve's playoff exp who makes that throw.

  • THIS IS NOT DETROIT MAN, THIS IS THE SUPER BOWL

  • i remember seeing this and literally falling down face first wtf

  • @Phooj99 Packer fans like you dont deserve to be a true packer fan... You forget how much Favre has done for that dumbass organization. Ted Thompson is a retard, fyi.

  • @herzloglover uhh what? Im not a Packer fan but they have the best roster in league and assuming that Thompson doesnt magically forget how to draft they should be good every year for the next 10

  • This was the worst officiated playoff game since the Steelers/Seahawks superbowl. And I actually wanted the Saints to win.

  • @phooj99 the packers let him go because he retired you fucking dumbass. SKOL VIKINGS

  • I always thought this game was a bad one, multiple late hits on Favre and only 1% of them got called. Its funny because the commenter said "He couldve held on to it and got 5 or 6 yards" Is he fucking retarded? The man is goddamn 40 years old! He wouldnt run because he was afraid to get hit AGAIN.

  • hahaha he said "ponder" how ironic

  • That really sucks though. As much as I love ragging on Favre it would've been awesome to see him in the superbowl that year vs. manning

  • Given the Vikings history, we would've missed the FG if we attempted it.

I love the Vikings, but man we've choked a shit load of times.

  • This may very well be the GREATEST video on youtube!

  • hey dont blame him for that loss! he was hit so hard the entire game and had how many broken bones from that game? im a diehard vikings fan and i know he could have run the ball and set up a longwell field goal. but he was a tough sob out there. you gotta appreciate that!

  • Brett Favre-The Great Choke Artist LOL

  • ponder passing? is this the foreshadow of christina ponder?

  • He couldn't run with a broken ankle that the refs didn't even flag...

  • all he had to do was run it, call a time out, kick a fg, and go to the superbowl. bad play call and stupid throw.

  • @dgbillybobjoe93 I agree. They already were in field goal range. He could have gotten few more yards then kick and gone to the SB. That's why Favre was always overrated.

  • Man where was he throwing it to?

There were like in ultimate Zone coverage, there was no way he was going to complete a pass at all there.

  • But the old geezer and the Viqueens were supposed to win this game. How dare they do something intelligent and lose. Drop dead to Paul Allen and the other idiot that was doing this game. The New Orleans Saints were the best and we deserved to win this game and the Superbowl. WHODAT!!!!!

  • Hilarious. Jim Rome LOVED this radio call.

  • spilled milk, this guy sounds like hes crushed lol

  • Lmao I love "I mean you can take a knee and try 56 yard field goal" as if that's a logical suggestion. Favre is a top 10 maybe top 5 qb all time but between the pick to the Giants, this play, and sexting his dick picture to Jen Sturger the end for one of my childhood hero's career has been awful.

  • Terrible decision. He threw it into a group of about six Saints.

  • Haha that announcer couldn't hide his emotions very well.. Who dat!

  • If the Vikings had won this game....Peyton would have 2 rings by now.

  • "intercepted. i cant believe what im seeing right now."

who man. so much emotion in that mans voice.

go take some acting lessons bro.

  • @jlaniroc Know what you're talking about. That's Paul Goddamn Allen, the best radio guy in the Midwest.

  • @MrT571 ohhh lord. midwest? guess we know who he was routing for

  • YOU CAN TAKE A KNEE!!!!

    lmfao this is awesome

  • "Why do you even PONDER passing?"

    Coincidence? I think not.

  • classic call of the game

  • HAHAHAHA!!!! the commentator was so pissed

  • Well said paul allen...well said

  • Fucking interception! Are you fucking kidding me?! Oh my god, tackle him!

  • haha, just like 07 against the Giants. Wonderful.

    Love the commentator aswell.

  • press 7 for ponder?

  • Just Like When He Was On The Packers

  • i think since the day he was born maybe.. but not sure have to check back with you on that

  • Since when does Brett Favre throw game ending picks?

  • @Drybones195 Only in the final game in each of his last three seasons.

  • Why do you even "Ponder" passing? It was a sign. Also, after hearing this call i tried a 55 yarder on madden with longwell and he ended up short at 100% power.

  • @obbanat you probably didn''t push down on the d pad before kicking it in order to make it a line drive, lmao

  • As a packer fan of 21 years....this is vintage brett favre. I've spent so many sundays watching brett throw a pick during a crucial drive

  • Favre was only following Viking protocol. Tease for a championship, then lose, lose, lose, lose, lose,, lose. The Vikiings will never win a super bowl. NEVER.

  • off topic, but has anyone ever seen those stupid jean commercials that he's in?

  • Favre could of gotten to the 31 yard line and ran out of bounds to the stop the clock there would of been a couple seconds left but it Ryan Longwell got in there I think he would of made it because around 31 yards and this may be true for other kickers that is a chip shot

  • It seems like nothing will ever go Paul's way. I was wondering how the hell Detroit became so good.

  • Favre sucks that's why saints won XLIV

  • vikings go to their 5th super bowl if brett favre doesn't throw the ball

  • Paul Allen just took a shit on Detroit

  • "This is not Detroit man, THIS IS THE SUPERBOWL!!!" yes it is....yes..it..is

  • I got the chills again!

  • Favre threw an interception in the 07 Championship game that ended the Packers chance of going to the Super Bowl. That's why Ted Thompson let him go. He did the same with the Vikings, he threw an interception when they had a chance to go to the Super Bowl. GO PACK GO.

  • @Phooj99 That isn't the reason why they let him go are you kidding? He's one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game and he threw an interception isn't the reason why they let him go. The reason is that they had a stellar quarterback on the bench named Aaron Rodgers that they believed that he would develop into something great. Brett Favre's time had come. Not because of a interception.

  • @Phooj99 He still better than rodgets Favre has 3 MVPs Aaron isn't even getting this one drew brees is brees has more touchdown better compleation percentage more compleations and more passing yards, Aaron has less picks because he doesn't throw down the field

  • @Phooj99 Because TT obviously had the clairvoyance to see that he'd throw a pick at the end of the NFC Championship game that the Packers weren't in that year...

  • "why do you ponder passing" that was the sign for the vikings to draft ponder

  • I watched the audio version of it on mike and mike when Stephen A Smith and Skip bayless was there very hilarious.

  • Wow I watched it on tv and I saw replay on NFL.com

  • "This is not Detroit man, this is the Superbowl!!" hahah to far bro...to far

  • @Jkahreonxbox360 Now playing Detroit is the Superbowl for the Vikings

  • the thought of peyton manning becoming an "old injury-prone choker" like brett favre really scares me :(

  • lol brett favre is a joke

  • @DirectorTurnerable 3MVP'S Superbowl win isn't a joke. Maybe the last two seasons, but his career is a Hall of Fame one. And I don't even like Brett.

  • NICE DAY

  • FUCKING INTERCEPTION FUUUUUCK OH MY... FUCK TACKLE HIM!!!!

  • "why do you even Ponder passing?"

    .... Christian Ponder?

  • the best part was in an interview with Bret Favre, they talked about this moment, and Favre said he was walking out of the stadium and was like, "Im done, im over with all this!" now look...

  • I didn't realize that Tracy Porter mimicked Jared Allens sack celebration after the interception

  • @armand3483 Best. Thing. Ever.

  • Tracy porter became one of my fav players that year

  • stills hurts ;((

  • i like how tracy porter mock the vikings by doing wat #69 from the vikings does when he gets a sack

  • Pause it at 2 seconds and you will see a Vikings player near the sidelines Burnt could have thrown to for a closer FG attempt .

Fortunately the arrogant douche who just thinks of himself instead of the team didn't throw it to him.

  • I feel bad for Bret. He's too GREAT of a QB for this to happen. That wasn't suppose to happen!

  • vikings fan stop hating on bret. this INT didn't lose the game. You lost it in overtime. duh.

  • twitter . com / lukavuckovic high school football player.he plays for serbia football selection

  • If Favre makes this pass everybody forgets about how horrible the choice was. They would've been too busy adding this to his highlight reel ;o

  • You hear that at 0:27 ? "Why do you even PONDER passing". They were foreseeing the future. Now, is that future going to be good?

  • i like how he out of nowhere just disses detriot.

  • @antoinem19 haha yea that was the funniest part to me. "THIS ISN'T DETROIT!!!!!!"

  • hahaha this is the first time ive noticed it but Tracy does Jared Allen's celebration at the end of the play

  • Burnt Fart is such a loser. He is soooooo overrated. He sucks. He is not as good as everyone likes to think he is.

Only one SB win in his long career. Pathetic.

Just very very happy that he blew it on another team besides the Packers. Glad he is gone and that we have many good things to look forward to with Aaron Rodgers. A true winner.

  • There is a man totally open on the sidelines.

  • @Madnessonman no there isn't.

  • @Dophinillie

    Top of the screen.

    Completion. Field goal range.

Thankfully Burnt didn't see or throw to him.

  • @Madnessonman he didn't throw to him cuz the corner on that side was like two yards off of him

  • @Dophinillie Make a fast enough pass or high enough and he would have had it.

Burt's better chance would have been the man near the sidelines. Fortunately he decided to make a bigger play in the middle.

  • @Madnessonman not only that, if he carried it and just lowered his head and powered through towards the sidelines, that's at least 6 yards, and they are on the 32. That's a 49 yard field goal... not a chip shot but its in a dome, and it's not to prevent a loss, it's to seal a win which is different, so the pressure on the kicker isn't even close

  • @OettingerCroat Right the game is tied.

  • WHY DO YOU EVEN PONDER PASSING

    YOU CAN TAKE A KNEE

    U mad

  • The saints rock but they don't realize that Tracy saved them and basically sent them to the Super Bowl cause that would have been Field Goal range if it was completed..

  • Favre is a 19 year vet, how the hell do you forget you don't throw across your body, espcially towards the middle of the field. This and that giants interception are a huge dent in his legacy

  • Actually the Viqueens are Detroit #2.

  • "this is not detroit man THIS IS THE SUPERBOWL!!!" i dont know wat hes thinkin the vikes didnt go to the superbowl

  • @violenceteacher6669

It was a shorthand way of saying, this was the Vikings' one chance to go to the superbowl, not some meaningless game against the Detroit Lions.

Still, I was LMAO as soon as he said it :P

  • this is not detroit man. this is the superbowl!!!

  • He got the winning pick in super bowl and the nfc champs

  • "This is not detroit man, this is the superbowl"

  • why do you even... ."PONDER" passing

  • I was hurting with farve that day.

  • Before dis play I was bout to cry .......BUT I FORGOT WE WERE PLAYING BRETT FAVRE

  • No, this isn't Detroit, Paul Allen. Or the Superbowl. It's NEW ORLEANS. Who Dat baby!

  • If this was Detroit Favre would have given himself a safety.

  • Tracy Porter was in the right place/right time. Brett Favre what the hell, didn't you see those 11 black shirts in the area you were trying to pass to? Good job.

  • After Tracy Porter did this same thing to Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl it took some of the sting off of it, but it still hurts to watch this.

  • @chrisisawesome33 or what lol

  • I like watching this when I'm having a bad day

  • @pdub673 clearly not a Viking fan

  • "This is not Detroit man, this is the Superbowl!!!" That play will haunt Brett Favre for the rest of his life :P

  • Epic FAIL!

  • If you're a Packer fan, you would have to call this....and everything that happened to the Packers AND the Vikings leading all the way up to winning Superbowl XLV....Poetic Justice.

  • who dat

  • Well Detroit will be tapping that azz next year Paulie, u guys are gonna be bad lol

  • Gahhh this game pissed me off, shoulda coulda woulda, that was our year to take it, wasn't thrilled about taking Favre in because I had a feeling he'd choke if we got down the stretch.. So many mistakes that game by us, one hell of an ending though, close the entire time, props to the saints, I really didn't want to see the colts win again

  • How prophetic of Paul Allen. That certainly was NOT Ponder passing. Here's to our new franchise qb, Vikings fans.

  • @JeremySpoken99 CLEVER

  • @JeremySpoken99 yeah Ponder's a smart guy. He certainly would have taken a knee in that situation :D

  • I don't think this is the Super Bowl

  • @ThaMartian2010 This was the game that decided who went to the super bowl.

  • @yayyfornathaniel Yeah I know, I was responding to the announcer who yelled at the end that it was the super bowl. I gotcha tho

  • Dear Saints, The whole world gave you a superbowl appearance. Longwell could have made a field goal from that distance. The dumbest play call I have ever seen. And don't think I'm a Vikings fan or a Colts fan either.

  • A real "slap" in the face to you long suffering Detroit Lions fans! What a JERK this commentator was or is. You know what Lions fans your team is on the rise with Suh and you guys are going to be one formidible force to be reckoned with from now on!

  • Geez do people still care about this game?

I understand the Vikings fans kinda because they can see what was once a solid team starting to slip into rebuilding mode and this game being the last real shot at a Superbowl title in awhile, but as a Saints fan i could careless about this game. What i care about is seeing the Saints go into Minny this year or next and beating the shit out of the Vikings.

  • huge favre fan, but ive said this from the moment i watched that play, guy on the sideline was soooooo open, top of the screen in the first replay.

  • "This is not Detroit man, This is the Super Bowl!" This is not Detroit? I'm not even Lions fan and I want to punch this guy in the face.

  • @theloserof08 Admit it,you like the Lions!Haha

  • At least Detriot has won an NFL Championship, Minnesota has not!!!

  • @laidbackphil This is wrong.

  • @laidbackphil Actually, the Vikings did win the 1969 NFL Championship and then lost to the Chiefs in the last pre-merger Super Bowl.

  • @epitreture Plus, the Lions won 4 championships before the Vikings even EXISTED.They never won another one afterward

  • @laidbackphil If by championship you mean Super Bowl, then you're wrong.Detroit has NEVER won a SB.Neither has the Vikings, but they appeared in 4 in the 70s.Detroit sucks.IF the Vikkings draft Cam Newton, then they'll win next year

  • looking at 0:17 you can see exactly what favre saw and it really wasnt a bad decision, just a great play by porter. and honestly the game shouldn't have come down to that cuz the vikings really outplayed the saints. im still not over this game.

  • @VikeFan284296 nah vikings did not out play them. Saints were playing straight pimp, with the onside kick, vikes could never do something original like that. Have fun wearing your purple and never getting this deep in the playoffs for another decade or two.

  • @WurDaKashAt hahaha no the vikings wouldnt have needed the onside kick. honestly, the saints probably didnt either. either way, vikings outplayed the saints and youve got to be a total homer not to admit that.

  • @VikeFan284296 lol, always good to find a true retard on YouTube. Go wear your purple and say bullshit to someone else you are a joke.

  • @WurDaKashAt lol

  • @VikeFan284296 also enjoy cheering for a team that has/will never win the only game that matters.

  • @WurDaKashAt cuz no one said that about the saints every year lol

  • @VikeFan284296 there will always be nay-sayers, of course people were saying that about the saints, but once drew got his mojo there was always a real chance they could take it. With the vikes on the other hand, you have arguably the best running back in the league and the team puts up good numbers but you will never get a championship cuz #1 you wear purple, #2 you have white trash jared allen, #3 your coaching staff is a joke, #4 you play on astroturf, #5 the vikings love GB's sloppy seconds.

  • @WurDaKashAt You forgot about the team being broke, the ghettodome is the biggest joke of a venue in all of sports, MN has the 2nd highest amount of NFL player arrests since 2000. 0-4 in the sb. Gary Anderson, Tyrone Poole, Mossy Cade, boat rides, Mike Tice's sb ticket scandal. The list goes on when it comes to this absolute joke of a franchise. Minnesota is just LA's farm system and everyone knows it.

  • But why do you even ponder passing? YOU CAN TAKE A KNEE AND TRY A 56 YARD FIELD GOAL! THIS IS NOT DETROIT MAN THIS IS THE SUPERBOWL!
