Not really if your experienced. You can catch them doing an Hadouken or something from far range or jumping to get near you. Thats when you do it and it becomes a very easy connection. :) Or he can go to the opposite side of your opponent's guard and can execute it from behind him when he is trying to guard. =P
Yeah, you can catch them with the Ultra in OTHER situations, but not in the situation shown in this video, which happens to be what we are commenting on. As a crossup, unless your opp sucks, it will be blocked and punished.

Ryu I fought online. This guy countered EVERYTHING I did. He was the only guy that uses focus attack to the fullest potential. I would use something like High Claw with Vega and he would charge his focus atk and hit me with it. I was like WTF no one ever countered me like that before. I got better with him though so it be great if I can fight him again.

I use vega alot now and from experince what ive learned you need to do is launch it wen they cant gaurd ^_-..i know thats pretty much common sense lol..but i mean like..if they jump but you have to have good reaction and anticipation. I fought a cammy online once and I got my bloddy high claw off right as she went up for cannon spike XD

Might work on big fellas more easily but It's pretty dangerous setup. I'll have to give it a go though. See if it works in new SSF4.
