God I was there in NYC on the 11th briefly. I had to make a flight transfer from Newark, NJ to John F Kennedy Airport and I passed through NYC by subway, Penn Station to JFK Airport. I had thought of skipping my flight back to Washington, oh so close...god dammit =\
