@domandybiking ha i dont no how u can say that coz the 88 89 and 90 are the exact same but the 90 have upside down forks, so u cant tell what it is and if the guy says its an 88 then its an 88 mate.
@TheMega9700 Well originally the guy said it was a 90 but i don't know because the forks before were from an aprilla....... It could be either but i just say it is an 88 :)
@rooney62danny if it was mine then i would be bamboozled! haha. i can barely get my new two strokes to idle. i have an 87 cr 80 that i bought for my son last yeear and that thing wont idle for nothing.
@worldskater31 AHh damn! Well the thing with this bike is, it has been ragged around a field a lot so i got it for basicly nothing, but i can honestly say the engine is absaloutley sweet ! Power band, gears everything works as it should, starts up 2nd maybe 3rd time ! You should try messing about with the idle switch its found near the choke i think :)
@rooney62danny yea. i got the 80 for 500$. Right now its blown and been sitting in the shed for about 3 months. I just cant find a jug for it. im thinking trying to get a 2005 cr85 jug to fit it but id have to get a different exhaust so it will mount to the jug. oh well. hes almost outgrown it anyway. i might get it going for a play bike or something.i think i bought it when the top end was half blown anyway so i think that might have been the culprit. do you live in the states?
@worldskater31 thats a nice deal i have always loved the cr 80s there are some great examples out there. I'm from england, unfortunately over here there is no where to ride :(
