  • Yay you broke your leg. Just like the baby goats now you can stop goat tying!

  • Wow, now you know how the goat felt!Feels good abusing animals for no purpose!I hope u learned your lesson!

  • Thats terrrible :(

But the goat is like....umm wtf?

  • I did the like ...exact same thing..a month ago :[[[

  • Karma is a beautiful thing :)

  • ouch!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ouch. Im sorry that must have been a bitch. it looked way bad I'm barly starting goats, haha and im kinda scared now (: lol and I hate how people call it animal abuse. god it isnt im compleatly against animal abuse, so i wouldnt be doing it unless the animal was in serious pain or dying. so damn,, (: happy you recovered though

  • You broke your leg during animal abuse that is disguised as entertainment?

    Good, you deserved it! :)

  • Thank you. you just made my decistion for me. I have a gymkhana show next weekend and was debating on doing the goat tying because i had sprained my ankle in dec and it is not quite recovered yet. after watching this i am not going to do the goat tying. hope you are better or get better soon.

  • Ouch. I snapped my leg in half a few years ago, my horse ran me over but at least I was already on the ground when it happened.

  • OUCH!!!! that must have hurt... hope you better now and still goin at it.. at least your horse stayed with ya on that. i cant wait to be going to some rodeos and gettin in them. Good luck..

  • Youch! Hope you healed great and are back at it! Watching the vid, it looks like your body was facing the horse when you stepped off. When you practice get offs, keep your hips parallel to the horses line of movement and always keep your lead foot facing the direction you are going to move. Your lead(right) foot should gather up underneath you and make an easy collected first step, that will help keep any accidents from happening again. Best of luck!

  • i broke my leg like 6 weekks aggo now and my horse stepped on mine and wow that is f'd how badly it broke i hope u can still rodeo and goat ty mabe too but it probley isnt good for the leg so idk haha any ways good video

  • How did you get your boot off?

  • probley cut it off or mabe quickly pulled like mine haha

  • Oh my gosh!! I wouldve been crying like a big baby! haha. You can see when it snapped in half. Im glad your ok now.

  • omg thats sick! uggggghhhh, i cant imagine what that felt like.

  • ouch i dont do goat tying Ive done flag racing though

  • Nice horse - read all the posts from other folks. Glad to hear you healed up just fine! BTW good job ignoring the rude posts - def shows that you have some character! Good luck girl!

  • Dang........like emmyluver1994 said..you were doing great! How long B$ you were back in the saddle?

  • Eh, i jumped on my horse right after surgery against everyones word. I barrel raced i my cast for a while. But i started acutally riding hardcore again a couple months ago. it took about 4 months, 4 months of hell., but this october i came back and won 3rd place in state in barrels :]

  • LOL...yeh..sprained my wrist and went back to riding right after goood job at state

  • dam and your already riding dam well see u at state tommrow

  • im not a bad person but i hope that hurt! because at the end of the day you may feel just a fraction of what the goats do, i dont care about your arguing and opinions rodeo is barbarec how can you call your self human? SICK that's what it is abusing cruel animals, and dont give me the how is it cruel even pushing it to the ground is cruel !

  • just so you know my family raises goats and some of ours are used for rodeo. the only goats i have ever seen get injured are the ones that get run over by the horses - which is EXTREMELY rare. i personally dont do goat tying because i suck at it but it really doesn't hurt the goat seeing as how you HAVE to do 'flank' them for foot work anyways... just thought everyone might like some HONEST words from someone who OWNS the goats being tied.

  • i dont really care i dont like goat tieing because even if the animal gets away perfectly fine it's still cruel because your focing the animal to the floor and treating it like a toy and then scaring the shit out of it!

  • Look at what I wrote 'you have to flank them anyways to do foot work' as in, if you don't have a table, you still have to pick them up and throw them to the ground, pin them and them trim them. Let them up and they are good to go. We have been doing it that way for years and have yet to have a 'terrified' or 'scared' goat - heck they come when we call them.

  • well i and many others think that that rodeo and stuff like this is just unnessicary, some vids ive seen up hear the goats look like noo way happy to come when called not saying you but others videos.

  • that had to hurt, and anyone who thinks goat tying is abusive should go suck an egg do you know the hell cowboys (and girls) go thru so they don't hurt them?!?

  • if you think goat tying is abusive you have another thing comming. do us all a favor and stop bothering this poor girl, she ust broke her fucking leg.

  • dude your a dumbass if you think goattying is cruel the n why the fuck did you watch the video? and if you watchde it cause it said "how i snapped my leg in half.." then your seriously fucked up.

  • Oh and by the way,

    your horse is amazing.

Gorgeous, nice build and the fact he didn't take of is amazing.

    Great job training him!

  • Omg. Kristin. This is intense.

Omg. I am like freaking out now. Ahh.

And what the fuck. Fuck you man. You need to shut up. No one deserves this happening to them.

  • Actually, if you look, you can find MANY posts of people getting hurt in all of those sports. So shut it.

And do you even know anything about rodeoing or goat-tying? Obviously you don't otherwise you would understand.

  • What's there to understand? It's a physics things dumbass. I'm sure you're a chunky girl but I know I outweigh you. Lets get together sometime and I'll throw you down over and over and see how good it feels. Or were you raised for that sport too?

Yep there are all kinds of people getting hurt in sports, but the vast majority of them are against other humans, not an animal that pales in comparison sizewise. Oh yeah, and they're not tied down. Don't have a prob with rodeos, just the goat tying.

  • Ok, you're dumb.

    But what ever.

I don't care about your dumb opinions.

    You are just wrong.

    So just face it.

  • If you don't care about my opinions then why respond to any of them? That's what makes America great, everybody is entitled to an opinion.

Speaking of dumb...the word whatever is spelled just like I typed it, not what ever.

  • This is awesome and serves you right. How tackling an animal 1/8 your size tied to stake is deemed a sport is beyond me. What's next gerbil wrestling?

  • The goats are not hurt, their rasied for this sport.

Long story short; Dont come in here, watch someone snap their leg in half while doing something they enjoy, and then moan and whine about how it hurts the goat. If it was cruel to animals and harmed them, then it would be shut down. However, since rodeo is still around, it must not damage the animal or put it under mental trauma like you seem to think.

  • Really define how you "raise" a goat for this sport? What kind of training does the goat go through?

By the way, you are the dumbass doing the sport so don't post a video on youtube and whine when you break your leg.

By the way have you asked the goat if it hurts? How can getting thrown to the ground not hurt? Also the rodeo industry is very powerful so don't feed the b.s. about how it would be shutdown, it's all about the money.

  • All your doing is throwing human emotions onto an animal. They've proved that animals don't have the same emotions as people do. Your probally one of the stupid people that voted yes on prop 2, that is if your in california.

  • Oh and BTW Kristin, nice job at state in gymkhana! You did awesome and you didn't rebreak your leg going around a pole this time.

  • LMFAO, wow this thread is from 7 months ago. Get a life and move on loser, we obviously did.

Lastly, I never said a thing about "emotions", guess that GED is paying off for you. You're probably one of those stupid people that can never take an objective view of anything and puts words into peoples mouths.

  • No I'm not but it sure seems like you are. I actually care about other peoples feelings, unlike you. And yes you were throwing emtions onto an animal because you said "how do you think the goat feels?". BTW, your the stupid one since you voted on yes on prop 2. You don't even know how its going to effect the farming economy in california now that it has passed. I use farrowing crates with my pigs. You put the sow in it to keep her from crushing her babies, and both of my sows are treated likepet

  • I'm pretty amazing if I can vote on prop 2 since I'm not a resident of CA. Next time you're looking into your crystal ball why don't you post future winning lottery numbers? In reference to how the goat feels comment, it's a nerve neurological thing Eintstein, that's how pain works. Don't believe me, get tackled by someone 2X your size and let me know how you, "feel" or what your emotions are.

Thanks for blaming me for all of the farming economy problems in CA, what else am I to blame for?
