Nice station love the overall roof. I've seen BR diesels on videos on special workings and I was wondering what the yelling and stiff arm sort of saluting out the coach door windows meant as no explanation was given on the video. You can't beat a whistler.

It is, and people seem very down on it these days. When I was a youth any train with rateable traction was likely to have a few flailing bashers, and it was just part of the scene. Nowadays, presumably because of the H&S nazis having won over just about everyone with their fear-inducing approach to life, bashers who flail are punlic enemy number one. Leave them alone: what harm are they doing anyone else?
@55022deltic I have encouraged all my kids to take an interest in railways, as i have. But i do not condone "flailing" for two reasons. 1/ It's dangerous on a fast moving train. 2/ It looks absolutely thick and belongs to people called Malcolm who still live with their mothers.
Nothing better than seeing 45 013 blasting through Chesterfield with 2 dozen bashers giving it some straight arm

Nice sound, but two class 37's in multi with 1500 ton on is a hard sound to beat on a still night.
