Sledgehammer is right.. With no gi you have to control their head and neck. Very hard to do if it's a fast pase match

You can scissor sweep with No-Gi, just cup your hand behind Opponent's neck and pull on the wrist.

also an overhook on one side or grabbing the back of the tricep works too. In an mma setting, you could start by setting it up with a butterfly guard.
