  • my savage x 4.6 would littarly beat that my top speed is 73 mph

  • lol you should mount a camera and like use it as from a tv or computer that would be beast

  • ^^ sounds like a leaf blower XD

  • where do you live that place looks familliar

  • Berwick

  • :( i miss mine.

I built a car made to look like a tuning car from scratch. Petrol powered. Built everything myself down to the petrol tank.

First time trying it just when id finished it, started it up, drove it to the end of the road and saw smoke coming from it, ran down to it and by the time i got to it the whole thing was in flames. Ive given up now. Took me 3 months and lasted 3 seconds.

  • haha that little fucker moves!

  • Yep just regular pump gas mixed with two stroke oil.

  • do you need gas for that

  • wat wud be the top speed on this beast

abd where did u get the engine from

  • Top speed is about 47km/h, but with good acceleration for its size. The engine is just off a weed whacker.

  • my 25 would i think

  • isnt 23 a bit slow to carry you and the weight of thwe scooter

  • Any more than 23cc and it would not fit onto the scooter.

  • o nice........good luck

what power is it going to be??

  • A 23cc weed eater engine. Goes pretty fast :) I will make a video when it is finished.

  • thanks for the help

    ill be on ebay tonight

you doing any modifications to your??

  • Not at the moment. Im working on a motorised razor scooter :)

  • mine hasnt got a cluch on it could i fix one to it

my engine weighs about 3kg is it to heavy??

  • Nah there is no way you can put a clutch onto your engine without some major fabrication. And yes, 3kg is a bit too heavy. Just look on ebay and you will find one for cheap. You need to make sure you get a good quality one though.

  • Clutch - Yes, most of these engines come with clutches on them already.

Brakes - No, none at the moment. I will be making some for it shortly though.

  • ie i have got the seering sorted i just need some electrics for theaccelerator

has your got brakes and a clutch??

  • A 25cc engine will be fine. Just make sure you keep it as lightweight as possible, and keep the weight close to the ground. You will also need some hobby grade rc electronics (can be bought off ebay pretty cheap).

  • o fair play

im thinking about bilding my own.....25cc strimmer engine.......what do you think???

    any tips??

  • thanks for the help

    did you us any welding??

  • Nope. Ive never had to use welding on any of my projects.

  • allright.....nice rc car

wat did you use for the accelerator ???

  • I just used the throttle servo from another rc car, which pulls a cable that opens and closes the throttle on the engine. My other video, 'Walkthrough of Homemade RC car' shows how this was done.

  • Looks pretty sweet. Did you build the steering aswell? If you did that must have been hard.

You should make a walk around to show us the details of how it was constructed.

  • Thanks Geoff. Yes I made the entire thing from scratch. The steering was actually the easiest part, since there is no suspension it made things alot easier. I will be making another video of the whole car as soon as it is finished.

BTW do you know what is going on with tzi's? I have many pics to post :)

  • Yeah i dunno whats going on. Im hoping he is removing those damn pop ups. Its anoying that the forum is so "dead" because there are heaps of videos and people who make stuff but the site is so hard to find. I always tell them about tzi if the comment.

  • Yeah I try to do the same. I just hope he hasn't shut it down for good... It is the ONLY forum of its kind :(
