I just tried it and space combat just blows my head. Problem is that bots hardly do anything except running towards main objectives with tunnel-vision and attack move on xD

No players anymore and bots are boring. Still, it seems a Planetstorm 2.0 is going commercial. One to watch for sure.

Damn, this is an awesome mod. Only thing is, the player base is a little slim, and in space combat, the AISN seems to have an advantage (although it's thwarted a bit when you opt to board and sabotage their ships).

@MB0016 This video is a trailer for one of the releases of the UT3 mod. The UDK showcase only has 2 of the maps(and have some changes in them from the mod release). The mod for UT3 has 6 maps.

@ThatSpyIsAScout It's a free version of the Unreal Engine 3, the cool thing is that you can make standalone games with it, so no UT3 required, not anymore.

yes this mod is ofline if i read the affp forum right they said theat its ofline cus they doing improvmemts to the game and making it better or sumin i know they changing the way the people wrun around and a few other things ect ect

@skycaprob wait wat ?! this is a MULTIPLAYER based game so it runs online mostly but ALSO offline. Also there is a dedicated server always running lets not forget about the online ingame meeting "Smackdown" that happens every sunday evening from 8 GMT

@cholasimmons That is correct, this trailer is for a UT3 mod. But as people have been saying, they are in the process of making a standalone commercial product on the UDK, however this mod for UT3 still exists and will exist.

Actually the latest release was RC8, the final release for UT3, now the team is moving onto the new UDK engine, were they hope to accomplish more and make AFF a standalone game.
