One of my favorite bands! great tune! I saw them in 90 or 91 at a place called the unicorn in Houston.. Gibby's hair caught on fire after banging on a flaming cymbal doused in gas.. big wall of strobes and naked chicks everywhere ( well those may have been hallucinated)... My favorite show ever. I also saw them again in 92 at the Tower Theatre on Westheimer, had Dead Horse and Crazy Killed Mingus opening for them.... GOOD TIMES! Requesting more footage from that era...

I saw every Houston show from '88 to '08 (missed last 2 shows though!) and have about 27 shows total seen. I don't remember Gibby's hair on fire, but the floor always caught on fire. There definitely wasn't naked chicks, maybe they were projected.

BHS did turn me on to Bad Livers, who I *STILL* adore to this day.

Been out of the scene a while, didn't know Bad Livers were still around. What a fun band. I meant there was Naked Chicks in the audience, at least where I was standing. One asked me for a light. The fire incident was very brief, nothing serious, didn't stop the show or anything, put out pretty quickly. It just freaked me out in my present state, not to mention the wall of huge flash bulbs in the back.

@LAYG0 UUUUHHH, I saw about 3 maybe 4 of 'em in the Houston area... and (of course, I was HEAVILY influeced!!) I did see these naked (at least topless) chicks dancing on stage... alot of flames too. inverted cymbol held fuel and bamn!! they'd light it up and pound on it with a drumstick! between fire marshall and some manager for the building... they stopped the show (but it was towards the end and was a night to remember!!)

@LAYG0 to add to the early reply... the last show I saw had to be in 87 or prior. I know I saw them at least 3 times... and I quit "the life" (drugs) in dec 87 so it had to be prior to then...
