that isnt really a trick with the guages, i have a 2003 grand am that does that, 99% of all cars/trucks do it when the key goes to the accesory position, now all you ppl know... :)
@BeastGT87 Wrong. Just because your grand am does that doesn't mean 99% of all cars and trucks do that. And the key wasn't in the accessory position. It was started. That's simply just not true. -_-

Whether you're talking about the gauges sweeping when the key is in accessory or whether you're starting the car. You should calm down some. It's really not that serious. Even on the mustang, it's not something that it does "regularly". It had to be set to do that. I would know. The car in the video is my car.
Press the button underneath your gauges and put the key and turn without trying to start, press the button to cycle through, you can look up the numbers and what they mean!!
I got same cams but my engine shakes real bad. What should I do ? After my cams went in , my car whistle around 2000rpm and up but cannot find where it's comming from. I have change every gasket , idler, egr,iac, belt tensionner everything with no luck. No body knows where is whistling from. Just got my car back from the shop where they did my cams but they told me they cannot find any leaks :( HELP
U have any sound clips or vid of the whistle? I know my plenum makes a noticeable hissing noise at part throttle which is normal. If you have an aftermarket plenum, that may be it, otherwise it may be best to have it looked at by a professional.
No video , I made it once but it's hard to hear on video. I hate my car everyday and thinking of selling it if I get good price. I do have bbk 75mm tb and C&L intake plunum. It started after the cams, got louder over time. Have change everthink but lower intake manifold. When I have some money I will change that too and see if manifold is cracked.
Nice setup man! I just bought Comp 270ah too and I wondered, did you have any drivability problems with them? Is your car dyno tuned? Did you loose much torque? Keep up the good work!
It is dyno tuned. It puts down over 300rwhp. And it has had to be retuned becuase of drivability issues..It wouldnt idle. Under the first tune it idled at approx 800 and it struggled to stay running when i'd come to a stop due to the cams. Now it's set to idle at 1K as can be seen in the video.

did your gauges come from the factory like that?..when u start the car they rotate all the way and then back...my 99 doesnt do that
