Ya know, the police want to protect the public. However they can not be there babysitting us every second, and can not be at your house in 20 seconds. If you are being robbed and beaten, how soon will you need help?
The right to bear arms is an anachronism, it is a throwback to the days of the English king Henry II - times when there was no organised police or militia to defend the nation or keep the peace.
To place such emphasis on the right to bear deadly weaponry is alarming for a Christian from a church which claims to be against an 'ethos of death that repudiates God's culture of life.'
LOL....okay ;>) Within the documentation it says "...peaceable citizens"....so I'm not saying anyone should have a gun. You Kidding? And, the gov't that supposedly "protects" is the most dangerous thing for the people.
And, your first mistake on the lower portion of your comment, was to lump me into your perceived belief of what "Christians" are, or should believe. Christ himself said "...I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matt10:34b But don't assume I think Christ meant to kill. ;>)
The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits the establishment of a national religion by the Congress or the preference of one religion over another, or religion over non-religion.
I can understand that. What I'm referring to here, and stand behind, is that the USA was founded with men/women being equal, with their right to "practice" whatever religion they want HOWEVER the country was FOUNDED UPON Biblical (Christian) Principles. When you try to change the Principles for which something was founded on, you are essentially changing the thing which was originally founded.
I don't want this nation to EVER state what people have to believe...not biblical.
If you give up your right to bare arms the Bankers will walk on you

Good video, and no doubt America needs to repent.
