C6Z is a GREAT CAR! the only problem when racing these higher end top speed German cars is that the 5th gear in the Z is very tall and it loses a lot of ground

@camirocz LOL what video are you watching? From :33 to :36 you can clearly see the M5 catching up, the zo6 was still accelerating at that point, you can hear it. The zo6 has a very tall 5th gear which hurts its top end acceleration vs an M5 with more power and better gear ratio's. At higher speeds the M5 is faster. The proof is right here. It is true that a zo6 is better from 0-60 and 1/4mile but after about 160mph when the zo6 needs 5th gear the m5 completly takes over.

The fact that you can actually compare the acceleration of a 3100lb sports car to a 4000lb luxury car is funny. z06 is a good car for the money, but i think the m5 offers so much more.

The M5 is a 7spd so I expect it to reach 200mph+ The same reason why the E92 M3 beats the Lexus ISF in the 1/4 but then gets raped on the freeway. You know the 6.2 Liter engine in the Caddy is detuned. The Zr1 with the same engine makes around 640hp. Who the hell is going to pick a used BMW over the CTS-V. You can't prove it would of been faster, the E39 made around 390hp while the 6.2 liter engine not supercharged makes around 430hp. I still doubt it would it and it also doesn't includes the CTs-V good looks.
haha, 7:59 on the Nürburgring for the Caddy while the M5 does it in 8:13, that's 14 fucking seconds. The M5 is slower and costs over 30k more. In my opinion I think that the CTS-V has a better looking interior and exterior styling. All the M5 in the last decade look very similar. CTS-V wins this battle

I'm a GS-11 base pay with many many other percentages that increase it. Next year we get our GS-12's. I was going to buy a 2010 GS but I decided not to and keep some money for a house.

How about a V8 vs v10, or how about the CTS-V lighter engine (smaller too)or better gas mileage or lapping the RING 14 seconds faster or 35k cheaper. Looks like that bullshit just destroyed that M5. GM can make fast cars, the ZR1 is also quicker than an Enzo in the RING. M5s are nice cars but way way overrated, try again.

people a cts-v is not even close to an m5...the m5 E39 is a v8, when tuning companies added a supercharger to the engine, it over took the CTS-V in accleration and top speed,
pluse buying the m5 E39 and adding a super charger today is still cheaper than a CTS-V

You know the 6.2 Liter engine in the Caddy is detuned. The Zr1 with the same engine makes around 640hp. Who the hell is going to pick a used BMW over the CTS-V. You can't prove it would of been faster, the E39 made around 390hp while the 6.2 liter engine not supercharged makes around 430hp. I still doubt it would it and it also doesn't includes the CTs-V good looks.

haha, 7:59 on the Nürburgring for the Caddy while the M5 does it in 8:13, that's 14 fucking seconds. The M5 is slower and costs over 30k more. In my opinion I think that the CTS-V has a better looking interior and exterior styling. All the M5 in the last decade look very similar. CTS-V wins this battle
