  • @smurfboywv yep. They have a linkage that allow them to do that. Those fans were built like that. Wish I owned one.

  • Beautiful mechanism and such an asthetically pleasing shape, even as it is. I'm probably in the minority, but aside from giving it a good clean, there's something pleasing about a nicely worn and slightly shabby looking fan. Gives it character. Not sure I'd strip the paint back and get it looking as it was when new .But that's just me! :-D
