Wow! The driver is lucky, a few feet forward and he could of got seriously hurt or killed. Is there a roll cage in that car? I can't tell, doesn't look like it by the way the roof caved in. Also I'm surprised they let them race with that car off in the runoff zone.
@lowlypawn The main strength of the roll cage is centered around the driver/front of the car. As such the rear does tend to hold less strength and so is more likely to "cave in" :)

@lowlypawn It was qualifying, the car had a full cage, which I believe was passed fit to be re-used.
