All those other years, maybe, but definitely not 2002. At least accept that you should have lost THAT year. I have friends who are diehard Laker fans who admit the 2002 Kings were robbed. Any Laker fans who say they rightfully beat the Kings in '02 are delusional homers who know nothing about sports, not true fans.

The lakers didn't cheat. They simply played dirty which in a normal game they would be called on it. The fact is they didn't deserve that ring in 2002 because the kings outplayed everyone that year. To be hones the kings should have had that series 4-1. The only fair game they won was game one.

Usually teams who retire numbers are for players who played the majority of their career with one team and a leader when it comes to that franchise's induvidual stat records. Webber had a good run with the Kings, but NO CHAMPIONSHIP. 7 years was not enough years for Webber..

listen is there a single player on the Kings right now the fans care about this much? Whereas the 2002-2003 era had easily 5 or 6 players. These guys played for the fans and fans came for them! It was a two-way street. Maybe this can serve as inspiration for the current group.
