Your obsession with smells calls to mind for me James Joyce. I'm not sure of your position regarding flatusophilia in particular, but thought you should know your olfactory (generally) is in good company. Now all you have to do is develop a paradigm-shifting oeuvre -- oh and clean up that French accent. :D

omg we are exactly alike, i just smell everything i can, its kind of creepy sometimes. ill smell it whether its good or not. i also want to be a perfumer. Im gonna go to FIT in nyc to study Fragrance Marketing there

I smell like freshly grated ginger & white tea blossoms right now cause I just made brewed some tea. I love the smell of fresh linen, pomegranates, honeysuckle, jasmine rice, coconut, freshwater cucumber (not all at once, tho!).

I don't enjoy the smell of wet, sweaty dog, either!

I love the way my man smells, he smells like me. I can smell myself on him, my essence lingers & he carries me with him always...as I do...

And yeah, I love people's different smells too. =O But I don't think I'm nearly as obsessed with them as you. I remember there was this really, really, really distinct smell when I went to the theater to see The Grudge forever ago, and if I ever smell it again I'm reminded of the movie and the whole experience. XD Smells can be really interesting.

My mother's favorite perfume is Délices de Cartier. I think it would be fun for you to deconstruct that so I might get an idea of why she likes it so much. I don't know if she gets the eau de toilet or the eau de parfum or just the straight perfume, but I do wanna know what you think about it!
