If the story had opened with that scene, instead of the reference to a five year old incident, this could be a nice little romantic story of the guy who asked his best friend for dating advice, untill he realized it was the sister he wanted. Or the advice thing could have been a front for him to meet the sister, cause knowing Daniels resolve for force Eric didn`t dare inform him of the feelings he had for Madolyn. Crazy lines: "poop face," "burnings" etc, requires a crazier setting & OTP acting.
Eric seems to be over his gay fase? Still, along with Madolyn, the better thespian. Daniel more reads, than say his lines. He has focus, though - the rest could come with guidance and experience. But the script needs tightning, well a liprosuction actually. Alot of surplus fat: lines, characters even scenes in here. The scene where Eric and Madolyn talked about Twilight(?) is the best and most important of all. It shows Eric works fine with girls - he likes and feels secure around. (to be cont.)
