This review is entertaining because it shows how biased Clarkson is when he decides he loves a car. He acts like the performance is absolutely ground breaking when really the numbers didn't really surpass anything because Ford never meant it to be a supercar, just a limited edition remake. Not knocking the Ford GT or anything its a collectors item for a reason, just look at the reviews Clarkson gives for the cars he actually owns :)

@blackmagix1996 it depends on what Veyron (year) and it alllll depends on the driver. The Ford GT Hennessey 1000 is just as fast, maybe faster than the 2006 Veyron. Then the rest of the Veyrons are faster. BUT only by a tad. ANDDD the Hennessey Ford GT is only $230,000. How much is a Veyron? LOL comon... when factoring price, the Ford GT Hennessey is soo worth it over that Bugatti chunk of metal

He contradicts himself, first he praise, then he denigrates, and uses strong words to raise a car before and to destroy it a moment later. It is not a technical show where they make comparisons based on objective datas, they talk about feelings, sound, design (which is always a subjective thing, at least within certain limits) and then they give a lot of gasss!

Hey man, I still prefer the Carrera GT and the McLaren Mercedes SLR by a country mile. They are much better looking and better at almost at everything.
And well, lets not forget those two are German (the SLR is German and British) and that that, is American. Also, the Carrera GT is probably the best super car of the 21st century.
Don't get me wrong though, this is way better than say the Corvette (aka the tackiest car in the market) or the Viper (the stupidest car in the market).

Education is failing for many other significant reasons partially having to do with public education being funded based on local income tax. the rich get better public education than the poor. as for GM, do you think GMC stands for government motor company... no, it stands for General Motor Company.

@TheMrDisser problems arise, cars can't be perfect. clutch and tranny i could see as the motor was from a lightning "which wasn't a 6 speed manual" nowadays, companies need to do more research instead of just bringing it out with no proper testing.. example, zr1 and zl1 camaro.. chevy just keeps putting high powered vehicles when they dont have a good resale value.

@TheMrDisser yes, whoever modified it screwed it up.. thats why you dont mod your car until your warranty is over.. if you mod it with aftermarket parts as that gt had its voids the factory warranty.. wasn't fords fault.. the 458's were recalled also, i've never heard of gt's being recalled.. because wearing a fire suit doesnt make you not have confidence in your car.. you have the option to wear a helmet at a drag strip in a 12 sec car.. extra safety if something happens..

@TheMrDisser the ccr was brought onto the market with a ford motor and supercharged.. the motor was shipped to them and tuned and put into there car.. once again you claim the koenigsegg is not stock, as another company boosted up a ford motor.. did i ever say a 1500hp gt is stock? no.. i said compare them because equal numbers.. i get what your saying, but i dont classify a car to be stock unless its all there handmade parts from there company.
