I love this anime and now I have the game, I just played a little, really just a little but I'm looking forward to it. It's really sad. They die but they really have a strong spirit, I think I cried like a baby. It gives a warm yet sad painful feeling it's epic. This song has so many feelings and is so sad T^T I love it <3 the song, the anime, everything <3

This reminds me of the very end of the last episode, when they showed the back of everyone with the Shinsengumi flag up. I cried, like everyone else, this song is a tear jerker :'(

I remember when I finished watching this anime six months ago. It was during February break and it was a Sunday morning, around 5am. Everyone else was sleeping except for me. Tears were already rolling down my face due to Hijikata's death and the flashbacks but when I saw the backs of everyone and this song began to play, I had to shove my face into a pillow so I wouldn't wake anyone up as I fell apart. Even as I type this my eyes fill up... T-T
