  • This is so incredible!

  • When Data said "Oh shit!", I fell over!

  • Mr data at 4:11 "Oh shit" FUNNIEST THING EVER

  • The untampered version of this scene would be nice. :(

  • Geordie!, you're about as useless as a blind nig........oh, sorry.

  • @cell9song wasnt his fault though

  • So from the 20th century till then... When did seatbelts not have use anymore?

  • Poor 1701d... She was a beautiful girl.

  • Stop with the shitty music videos. I just want to see the fucking scene, not some nerds' retarded tribute

  • gay song

  • @zardcat1111 umadbro?

  • @GrimmRipper2 ugaybro?

  • @zardcat1111 yeah, umad

  • Was that tasha who went flying then? 1:23

  • @xCyberdog Tasha was pretty butch.

    But she wasn't THAT butch.

    She had tits.

    Come on.

  • @Bigdog7867 Reqium for a Dream by

  • Surprising how they always knew to the exact second when their core would explode.

  • moral of the story: wear seat-belts

  • So sick of this song, and NO it doesnt work. Its overused.

  • lol data "Oooh shit"

  • FAIL

  • Ok, granted...it's a great song, and it gives the destruction of the enterprise D a WAY cooler feel. It's epic, it's tragic, it's cool. You also hit some spot-on cues. The problem? Just like with ALL of these videos (and there are millions) people seem to think that the great music will make up for THE COMPLETE LACK OF SOUND FX AND DIALOG. If you're not going to even try putting in dialog, then don't show lips moving.

  • Somebody wake up Picard for God's sake...those old people nap way too long...

  • Requiem for a Dream automatically = FAIL and thumbs down for a video. Nice song selection you unoriginal piece of shit.

  • @banglefaar nice flame to such an old video, but i hope u are restored to normal emotions by now? ;-P it is a great moment and before "overusing" it was (and still is) a great music. so what. ^^

  • @Wampor Shut the fuck up. It was never great music. Go listen to your rap and techno music now.

  • @banglefaar well, while I might have a simple mind enjoying other music than you, I at last am able to accept variety and different taste. maybe there is a "great music" god who will judge me later, but until now i would say: let people do their music they like. anyway, sorry for trying to change your mind. have fun! ;)

  • they should have ejected the warp core and let it explode in space then the USS enterprise NCC-1701D would never have been destroyed dont you agree.

  • 5:00 Picard is going TO BE PISSED!

  • Thumbs down because of the over use of this music.

  • I FUCKING HATE SHITTY MUSIC VIDEOS.

  • You know, a lot of the dramatic impact in this scene came from the fact that the music stopped once they crashed.

  • honestly the "Requiem" was not bad at all for this clip, kudos on making it so

  • Why does every man and his dog think Requiem For A Tower is the instant epic-button for all of their fan music videos?

  • This was sadder than Kirk dying, the death of the Enterprise D.

  • @icewatercube Wonder what kit would of said today lol ( "fuck you michael, think im wasting my battery keeping your drunk ass in place, And dont dare eat a burger in this car you messy shit")

  • lock on primary and secondary fazers on the requem for a dream soundtrack prepare foward torpedo tubes. FAIAH

  • galaxy class forever.

  • I remembered watching this film as a child. Having watched the TV show with my folks in the years leading up to the release of Generations, I can remember feeling a real loss at the destruction of the Enterprise D. Very underrated film.

  • Man, that "Requiem for a Dream" soundtrack goes with EVERYTHING, don't it!!?? 8^D

  • Couple of questions:

    1. Whats the song used?

    2. Wheres Picard?

    3. Why are the Klingons attacking them?

    4. Where are these clips from?

  • @Dirtboy101 1: requim for a dream

    2: on the planet

3: cuz they are assholes, and they go the opportunity.

    4: star trek generations

  • @MrVeruckt Thanks, what I meant was which episode or movie or whatever is this from?

  • @Dirtboy101 the movie is star trek generations

  • @MrVeruckt Best answer ever

  • Worf's face says it all......"today is a a SHIT day to die" :)

  • 4:10 oohhhhhh s**t

  • the saucer on the planet was 12 feet tall, and whose to say maybe the trees there were gigantic.

  • srry a 12 foot model

  • they used a tiny CGI model. If you look at the background the saucer is less than 1 story tall, and about 30-50 meters in length and width. they shud have animated it bigger or the trees smaller

  • Starfleet has GOT to install seatbelts

  • @fajner1 agreed

  • nice

  • explain yourself

  • spot on

  • if it works, and sounds good to what is on screen, does that really matter? also if its a well known one, then that just means people will get its meaning faster

  • I agree with you, Delta. Awesome vid, and I think the music suits it quite nicely.

  • I think Lesley Crusher (Dr.Crusher's son) died, didn't he? Near the end

  • @Sammyy46

Its Wesley Crusher and no, he was not in the film at all

  • @Delta1111111 Didnt he evolve into the next stage of humanity we are to become like a Q. it makes sense as to why the continum took interest in us

  • @Sammyy46 , He's also in a deleted scene in Nemesis

  • data says o shit!!'

  • Gotta love the old Star Trek don't like the never ones though screw enterprise >.>

  • oh my god, what is the name of the song u used for this video, bcuz i can not find it anywhere

!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! please respond...and btw what was the name of the movie?

  • The song is Requiem for a dream theme song, and the movie is Star Trek Generations

  • I know that all this seemed like something the TNG crew would of or have easily circumvented in the duration of the series but I mean lets give the writers of the movie a break because, they new another movie was to follow this one, they explained the Galaxy class wasn't theatre screeen friendly so they did this to get rid of it. As easily as it was destroyed who cares after all it's just a movie and the Enterprise E is just a cool. :)

  • "Galaxy class wasn't theatre screeen friendly"

    How come?

  • I'm not 100 percent sure but I think it had something to do with it being too big and bulky and just unappealing on the big screen whereas the Enterprise E was slimmer. Although it was bigger so..that's why I am not 100% sure on that. But I remember watching an interview and the reason for it being destroyed other than for a climactic to the Enterprise D was because it wasn't theatre screen friendly.

  • @Danny77uk

It's probably because the model was just unwieldy so they wouldn't be able to do many advanced ship maneuvers with it. but im sure there is more to it then that considering CGI was right around the corner when this film was being made.

  • @Delta1111111 you deserve a fucking award for this

  • I hate that many angel scenes in Movies's and Series's are often used (for exampel the exploding Bird of Prey is from another ST Movie and the explotions and the running Klingons are often used in ST DS9)

  • If they didn't do that though, they couldn't afford to produce Star Trek.

  • what film is this ??

  • Star Trek Generations

  • The next gen crew.. also seem stupid in combat scenarios when it came to the movies, but were brilliant tactticians in the series.. it shows their was different writers. All riker would have had to do was place the shields on an auto rotation... the klignions wouldnt have stoiod a chance.. and he could have orered the ship on rapid fire

  • Except that the shield energy was modulating on the same number as the torpedo's were that were being fired at them, the only way you could fix that was t change that frequency or modulation, what ever you want to call it, but there's no real way to know that that was how they were doing that which out analyzing the torpedo's first, which you can't do when they are active obviously

  • the first time one went thought the shield should have given them a clue.

  • True, but then they wouldnt have a reason to lose the Enterprise, and as we all know, anything can happen in the movies

  • it was something to see.

all of the original source material mentioned that the saucer could do this.

but sometimes the sillyness of the writers was a bit much, like in ST V, we can now tell where shells come from with radar, but the Federation seems to have lost that ability, but Picard remembered it for the last movie.

and with Anti-matter, who needs bio-genetic weapons??? drop a kilo of anti-matter on some planet.... BOOM!!!

    :-)

    i miss Star Trek.....

  • .... And that was with the inertial dampeners on.... Good thing too, or they would've ended up like Voyager XD

  • every time troy has the helm she crashes the ship. She needs to go to starfleet driving school

  • @Skippyboy2348 Well, Riker is to blame, really.

Remember the Thine Own Self episode? He should've tought Troi how to drive, but no! He just too busy wanting to see if she would tell Geordi to go kill himself!

  • @Skippyboy2348: Well you know what they say about women drivers....

  • @Skippyboy2348 or a strip club

  • Cool, whats the name of the background music?

  • Regium for a dream theme song
