This one should have been a great movie, but it lacked a central character: James Bond. George Lazenby has never been an actor. Diana Rigg was great (greatest performance of an actress in a Bond movie ever), the music and the cinematography were superb, and even Ilse Steppat made a decent "henchwoman", though a bit clumsy. Telly Savalas was a mediocre villain and the editor was John Glen, who later based FYEO on OHMSS (beach scene, ski scenes, co-operating with an outlaw, a gambling lady etc.).
@kentamitchell ty I couldn't really remember who it was I have seen all the bond films but its hard to remember all the characters throughout the series
@GranTruismo4head Its neither. Its just a scene from You Only Live Twice when bond is going through Ninja training. That guy is one of the Ninja's going through his moves.
love the groovy sixties montageof the previous bond films showing all the girls he essentially got laid with. It sets the tone that he will get married in this one :)
@DrOmega - You have to realize the point of the Armstrong song was perfect for the ending of the film: "We Have All The Time In The World", as it's the last line!
Thanks for posting this, Tiflo!! For those of you too young to remember when this movie first came out, which is probably the vast majority of you (OHMSS was released in Dec. 1969), the special effects of the hourglass showing scenes from the first 5 Bond movies was the very cutting edge of special effects back then. For a huge Bond fan like me, I was riveted to my seat in the movie theater watching it for the first time. And the music was FABULOUS!! AND STILL IS!!!
@VrgniaMailman Yea man! This is my favorite bond song and i know them all, read all the books and this movie was diffrent in such a cool way. I love this movieand I really love this song! Thanks for posting! I feel like i could do anything when i hear this

Proving possibly Bond's most dangerous mission yet...
