why are all the trucks single axle? I drive truck in norhtern canada and I can't remember seeing a single axle truck in ages. loggers are all going to tri drives now. what type o weight do you pull how much power transmission types and any other intresting information you can tell me. rite now I am in a 2006 kenworth 550 Hp cummins 18 speed tri drive full lockers (all 6 rear tires drive) with a 3 axle pole trailer. 7 axles all together around 60,000 KG legal load.

@coldshot357 Well, in Europe the trailers are 3 axle and the weigh is distributed so that a truck can have single axle. If you take the trailer off it is better to have 1 axle than 2 .

@coldshot357 that's because the single axle truck are much more cheaper on fuel than two or three axle drive.

And the fuel prices in europe are much higher than in america or canada. With good road conditions and weather is single axle no problem, just overweight could be an problem

Mooi filmpje. verder heb ik gelijk de vraag: Rij je zelf nog bij de lelie. Zoja weet je of ze nog chauffeurs voor het ver weg zoeken? heb namelijk veel interresse in dat werk.

Ik heb zelf tot nog toe alleen ervaring in west Europa, maar ik zou dit werk erg graag doen. Groeten Roel.
