@bleedingcry The ILWU members can make up to $250,000.00 per year if you work up to 14 shifts per week. Some guys make more if you take the skilled positions and work hard. I work as a refrigeration mechanic/ longshoreman and make more than most longshoremen. I sailed in the U.S. Merchantt Marines as Chief Refrigeration Engineer for many years in the best union in the world. I made about $100,000.oo for 6 months of work, had up to $200 million worth of refrigerated cargo which I took care of.
