Sometimes abortion is the responsible choice. There are so many babies who grow up in foster care or living in poor conditions with out their needs being met. Nobody should be forced to have a baby they cant afford or in some case didn't choose to make.
@lidianeusa It's so sad to see people force their opinions and beliefs unto others. Even more sad to realize how cruel life really is and how hard it is for a woman to decide to build up courage for an abortion, when society marks her as a whore and a murderer. If you don't want abortions to happen go educate instead of hating, and if you promote adopting, show us proof that you've done it, otherwise you're a hypocrite. Rape is never called for. Think about it.
that doesn't have complete human organs, thoughts, feelings, a brain etc which babies have. Also fertile women aren't baby farms for infertile women. They are people. The embryo/foetus isn't. There's no way they can have more importance than women. Women can think, feel and make their own decisions. A foetus doesn't have that ability. Also adoption defeats the object considering you'd still be forcing a woman to go through 9 months of hell and the pain and danger of giving birth.
@gerherbel You can find out if you need to tell your parents. On Planned parenthood website they list the laws in each state. You can see if your state requires parental consent
This information is the best you can give to women about the reality of abortion. Abortion is sometimes necessary and it should be accessible, safe and legal.
So you have to take the first pill with a doctor, and then you take the second pill at home. People were talking about RU-486 like you just pick up a pill and take it and that's it, like what happens in Brave New World. So it's still something where you have to consider all your options and then make sure you have time set aside for taking the second pill. I'm really glad I watched this, now I know all the facts. Thanks Planned Parenthood.
Thank you for all you do, Planned Parenthood. You guys rock!

@lidianeusa What about women who were raped or if the contraception failed? Do you use protection every time you have sex?

@gerherbel Talk to your parents. I wish I had talked to mine before my abortion because you really need their support during and after.

This is good that they have things like this... so women don't have to feel "traped" anymore

@sarahlajolietigresse: "plan b" is the one you take after your BC control fails, and that one you just pick up and take.
