It will be interesting to see what Canon will do next with the 5D3. It will probably have more MPs, Digic 4, and inherit the auto-focusing & movie modes of the 7D. Where else can they do? My guess is it will still have the same shutter speed as the 5D2.

Sadly, this potentially great camera was ruined by the marketing muppeteers at Canon who elected to cram too many megapixels on the small APS-C sensor, thus compromising the purity of the sensel signal.
If the 7D would have launched as a 10mp camera, the 7D would have been incredible. So close, yet so far.
Urgh - I guess I'll have to skip a lunch out here or there... time to save the pennies. Do you think my wife will miss $1700USD in the bank account? ;)

nice camera for me i already order d300s, shoots iso 1600 with no problem. This one tho is noisy, and the LCD is problematic.
