  • Alright!!! awesome cover.

  • That's excellent. You have a great style. A really, really good cover of a great track!

  • Awesome! one of the best covers here on youtube.

  • Who would dislike this video? You rock man, solid cover.

  • @polvani2 most les pauls got a volume 'tone cut’. i tended to believe his guitar had.

  • Is this the Peavey Classic 30

  • Thanks for not trying to emulate Clapton note-for-note. This is a legendary track, and everyone tries to play the solos exactly like the record. It's great to her a player put his own spin on the solo while keeping the Clapton vibe going. Good Job.

  • such a hot les paul, little to much treble but still pretty good

  • ~I can't and have no interest in playing any song note for note....I just try my best to sound like me....keep on Rockin' man you sound great....~~

  • back off of the gain a bit. the volume is good, but the gain has got to come down a bit

  • so tell me how the fook you gonna down the gain in a non-master volume amp if the volume is good, without messing the tone up?

  • Fuckin' sick.

  • that was awesome dude, keep it ROCKING --

  • improv was brilliant

    loved it

  • It was nice to read the previous comments about people judging while not posting anything themselves! I just got a critique on a video i did that actually states above it that its not note for note! So i go check out the guys channel and he has one video that is nothing special at all. I asked if he was ever going to get in the ring or continue to comment from the sidelines! Im sure he will have a response! Like your vid's by the way, i play a Strat so it's always nice to hear a Gibson.

  • love old clapton the best. keep at it man.

  • Nice Improv.

  • You know I hate you stupid fucks on here that critisize some dude or anybody for that matter...and the kicker is...you idiot fucks dont have any vids of your own. You talk the talk but dont walk it. Youre all the real wannabee's and posers, not good hearted dudes like this guy.

  • I couldn't have said it better myself!! These morons who think they are some kinda talent critic is laughable. Kind of reminds me of the drunk guy at every gig that is always yelling "Play Lynyrd Skynyrd"!! after each and every song no matter what kind of music style you are playing. Why can't people see how much of a dipshit and a pain in the ass they are to other people??

  • In the words of Ed McMahon, "You are correct sir."

  • You know what's funny about that? When I was doing gigs in England I NEVER heard a request for anything...they just dug the music and enjoyed it. It was amazing to play for crowds that still hear music as ART and not a pastime to get drunk to...

  • I have played a grand total of one venue, and someone asked me to play freebird about halfway through while I was in the middle of a very soft interlude while my singer got a bottle of water. I stopped playing, went over to the bouncer and had him remove that idiot from the crowd. if you want to request a song, fine, but do it when the band asks for requests, and dont ask for free bird. I dont have enough time in my life to play it more than once.

  • i dont think its possible to play it more than once in a single life time loll

    good call

  • Sweet another 5/5 your so awesome you should make a tutorial or could you at least tell me where you got the tabs

  • Forget about tabs. Learn to use your ears.

  • Is that your Peavey Classic?

  • i was about to ask that. But i think he´s no answering questions!!

  • Oh, ok.

  • Huge sound, good soloing!

    Keep on playing!

  • Like your ob!

You found a good sound for your Les Paul.

  • he did the leads you stupid misfuck

  • You obviously don't know the tune, go back to stroking your Squier and posing in front of a mirror.

  • Dunno why youve got thumbs up, this guy is playing both lead and rythm, idiot.

  • Her Ninja turtle, get the "Wheels of Fire" CD and clean the wax out of your ears.

    Pathetic Tosser

  • Well, I guess it's a good thing he's not a jukebox. It's HIS take on the song, not a direct cover.

  • lol how can u tell that guy to "go back to strikinng your Squier and posting in fron of a mirror" when i see no vids of ur playing???????

and u abviously kno nothing cause hes playing both lead and rythem

  • Unreal. Agreed, good to see an artist not a replica.

  • great tone man. i like your i can't quit you baby. i think i'm getting a 58 reissue les paul.

  • Cream kicks ass!!!

  • Very nice, I like the fact that I can bearly hear the original track, because this way it allows me to follow what the guitar is suppose to be playing without the distraction of the other instruments.

  • Great Marty : you nailed crossroads at last for your fans
