  • by to much air . cool to see

  • I believe the TAP pilots are very experienced with island hopping and crosswinds. The same I would like to about SATA.

  • Tivemos sim

  • TO ALL ,

Only the pilot nows wt,go`s on.

  • hhohoh eles tentarom, ficou perigoso lol

  • OH DAMN i am a pilot myself and that never happend to me thank god

  • my profile isnt working

  • Parabem TAP.

  • crosswind

  • is just missed approach because of crosswind

  • TAP came late

  • the TAP just came lately to the runway

  • Porra! até eu fazia o go-around!!!

  • porreiro o video pena o cameramen sofrer de parkinson. lol

  • He disliked this city, and changed his mind to land :-)

  • A good pilot knows when to go around. Knowing what the runway is like here I think he made a good call, not much margin for error and it's better to admit defeat than risk lives.

  • He didn't want to land because there was a zombie outbreak at that airport. RuiMedeiros is a zombie, just so u know. He was planning to eat the pilots and the crew. Thats why he was hiding behind the fence.

  • I can confirm that!

  • uahuahuahau excellent!

  • no la the plane just came late

  • pilot said, "fuck it im not landing in this place, im going back to my country to my wife, fuck it

  • he could have made that if he tried,

  • its not a missed approach it is called an abort landing.

  • its a missed approach, a gust hitted the rudder of the plane unstablishing it to land.

  • you are both wrong, a Go around or an aborted landing is when the pilot decides to stop landing and go for another try. A Missed Approach is the act of going around. So The pilot says we are going around. Then they get to departure or approach and tell them they are a missed approach

  • exactly!Now your talkin

  • Go around.

  • dapan

  • The Golden Rule! A pilot can go around at any height. (Just to elaborate) Hudson's pretty much got it nailed. However, the call would have been 'callsign is going around'. The call for 'missed approach' is normally transmitted before decision point.

  • BTW brudder! 20% Rotate and balls to the wall!

  • Thats boring for the passengers :! lol, after 2 hours of flight, go around and then go to Terceira :\

    Sou do Faial xD

  • The runway is short for an A320, no room for mistakes here. Just before the pilot initiates the go around a gust hits the airplane, with no runway to spare there's no time to make correction without risking an overrun. They asked how was the wind like when they performed the go around, and it was reported gusting up to 40 kts. They then tried a second approach but didn't even come close to the runway, reported strong wind shear and diverted to Terceira.

  • to cnl4444: Im sure you dont know what happened in there, he DIDNT put the engines to 96 then decrease it, thats the sound that you hear because the aircraft passes from you!

to the video: well its not easy to land on that airport. I know how that airport is, the track is short to land A320 there and also that island has a big Mountain that causes crosswinds over there, he tried to land but failed because he was a bit too high from the usual, he should had been a bit lower.

  • How can you say hes a horrible pilot. You must be on crack. You have no idea what N1 and N2 was on. It sounded reduced either cuz it passed you which means the sound gets further. Or he put TOGA mode on and it changed around. You can't tell me a guy with over 3000 hours under hist belt is a horrible pilot. Ur an idiot

  • Are you fucking nuts? N1 and 2 cannot be controlled separately. If different please start splaining yourslf, Lucy.

  • PRRRRcaaaaa

  • Obrigado

  • Qual é o comprimento da Pista?
