I love the game, dont get me wrong, if it was £2 a month i would consider that fair and go back. But as it stands you may as well play battlefield 2142, the fights will be about the same size. Criticism aside, there was a time this was really something. I miss those days, it was the best game ever, for a while.

This game was absolutely epic. I felt a level of immersion in this game I've never felt before in an FPS. The music, the atmosphere, the large scale battles, hacking bases to take them over, dropping off large squads in the Galaxy... it was all just amazing.

I used to play this game a lot but ran out of cash. My favorite parts were how people pieced together entire massive raids or defense missions or even just fighting a huge battle in the middle of nowhere, everybody worked together to get the job done. I love best how you can gather a bunch of troops and drop them off ODST style.

Planetside was so awesome. I think the expansions hurt the game more than help. They didn't do a good job balancing the new weapons at all in my opinion. It had it's fair share of bugs, too, but how revolutionary the game was made up for them. If done right the sequel will be absolutely amazing, as long as SoE doesn't totally fuck it up the ass.

Damn it's been a while since I've even seen footage of this game. I played it and it was very, very fun. Poor support when it came to sorting out some glitches, but that is partly down to my 'Frankenstein' of a PC. Got a new one, so I might as well see if this game can run well on it.
