Torchlight is clearly going to be the main competition to Diablo3.

Guild wars2 and Kingdoms of Amalur are in the same category of game and are competitors.

When it comes to the Diablo 3 real money AH (or RMAH if u want to call it that) its not that bad. If you dont like it, then dont use it. also, we're talking about a very small amount of money. People wont buy a good weapon for 15 $ or 10€... If there actually is someone out there who is stupid enough to buy an item for over 3$/5€, then you can just laugh at them... the people who are actually smart wont sell a weapon for more thant maybe 2$/1€ or else they will never get it sold

Also, selling weapons for money existed for Diablo 2, as well... but it was never so accessible and Blizzard and Activision never got a cut of the profits. That's all it is, imo, an attempt to milk us further.

@Rugaas91 There are three charges, that I have heard about. First, you are charged a few cents or somethings from LISTING an item in the auction house. Second, you are charged when the item is sold. And third, if you don't want the money to stay on your Battle.net account and instead want to move it to Paypal (or whoever they chose as a partner), you are charged a third time.

What is the point of identify scrolls? Why can't the items just say what they do?

@windex859 to keep you in suspense. cuz you could either have a really great item or a crap one. in a game where there are near limitless items, it's something of a staple to have unidentified items, as it gives the player a micro managing head game to play - keep or leave an unknown item should you have a full inventory :p
