  • This girl that I helped raise and she went to nursing school for 2 years and the local hospital paid for her education and her obligation was to work for the hospital for 2 years. She was 32 single mom going to school. She has her RN degree and she is happy that she did do the RN instead of LPN. She was screamish too about blood and needles. Now it like she can't wait to get that needle in her hands. LOL.

  • Hey there...you look great...sometimes once you start feeling good vs bad everyday makes you realize you can acomplish things you never thought you would do....such as going back to school...:)

  • Hey there...It's been a while since we've chatted. How are you? Thanks so much for your comment. I agree. Hope you are doing good.

  • I was on Enbrel, it worked for me, but I wanted to go off it because of the weight gain(15 lbs in 12 weeks), but...there is a shortage of nurses, so you will always have that career. You are never too old for anything you desire in life, good for you. I was a surgical assistance for many years, I loved it, and it does take a special kind of person to be in the medical field, you are that kind of special person, yeah for you, good luck and study hard!

  • awe..that is so sweet of you. I am loving learning and can't wait to get started. I didn't realize the Enbrel caused weight gain. I really need to learn more about the side effects better. It seems to be helping so much better than the Methotextrate and Humiara did.

  • Yay! Good to see you! I'm glad you had a great trip. Good luck with school! What a great development. 160 pounds??!!! You are doing so fantastically!! What a role model :-)

  • Thanks so much. You are too cool.

  • That is fab that you are going for PCT.

Are you going to Dorsey? Both my daughters are doing Dorsey. My youngest already graduated in march as a Pharmacy Tech. and my other daught is still going and will be graduating in October. She is doing the Patient Care Technician. Wow 160lbs and going to school. I don't think anything can stand in your way. Congrats....

  • That is great your two daughters are in school. Wow...October is just around the corner. I will be graduating in January, I believe. I am going to Georgia Medical Institute. I am so thrilled with school. Pharmacy Tech is a very good program. Thanks for your support.

  • Congrats on going back to school, that is a huge step in life! Best wishes for that!

Good job on the weight loss, keep going!

  • Thanks a bunch.

  • Lyzette You look just beautiful! I am so glad that the medicine is working for you! You will make a wonderful nurse! You have such a kind heart! good to see ya!

  • Thanks, Anna. I really appreciate that. I'm so glad the medication is working too. I have just noticed it works so much better than the methotextrate and Humira. I just pray that the side effects are minimal. Thanks for your sweetness.

  • Good luck with the schooling.. It will be a great experience for you.. I became an Lpn at 49 so your never too old..

  • That is so inspiring. I appreciate you sharing that with me. I hesitated for so long, because of the age thing and finally just broke down and said, that the longer I waited,.....the more I would regret "not" doing it, because I have been wanting it since I was 16. Thanks so much.
