Excellent! Where do I get one of these and how do you cut straight through a piece of Dowel instead of a square piece? Let's say you were making draught pieces from dowel for instance?
Sorry you will have to make one as its not on the market but I hope you find the idea useful. Citting dowel is simpler. Bore a hole in a block of wood. Cut through the block past the hole at 90 degrees then put the dowel in the hole and cut using the slot you just made. The hole depth will give you consistent lengths.
