Actually, that is Pierce LeFevre on trumpet and Harold Lane of the Speer Family is on trombone. This is from the "new" Gospel Singing Caravan TV show in the late 60s. The LeFevres and the Speers joined forces to make up the "new" caravan.
I love good piano playin and I think this is the very best. I am glad these videos are on here for us to watch. I have a lot of their record albums. I have enjoyed them thru the years. It is amazing that she is still going strong. God has surely blessed her life. I knew her daughter when she was married to Jerry Goff. I have every one of their records. Thanks and May God Bless.
Goodbye World Goodbye! Great instrumental! I've heard them play this countless times in concert. Nobody could pound that old piano quite like Eva Mae; and she is STILL singing today, at 90 years YOUNG! She is a REAL TROOPER! Thanks so much for posting these videos from these pioneers of gospel music, and for exposing their music to young people who have probably never even heard of the LeFevres. They were among the very first pro groups and paved the way for today's quartets. MoJoPiano
