Apparently Conor did an interview with the Rolling Stone recently where he said he'll do one more Bright Eyes record with Saddle Creek and then retire the name and go back to doing the Mystic Valley Band and Monsters Of Folk. Monsters Of Folk has a tour coming up that just looks amazing.

And its essentially Bright Eyes with M. Ward and Jim James.

I guess he just wants to separate himself from the Bright Eyes sound. Probably why there was no promo for MVB and M.O.F. Its all been word of mouth.
