Crossfit may get you in shape, but because it allows you no rest, your form is off because your fatigued and you don't do the exercises properly. I'm sure it's hard though. I like the balance of circuit training with strength training and short 30 seconds rest between supersets. That way you still get good cardio and strength training with proper form.
i don't understand the hating and arguing, crossfit makes you fit, able to do an incredible amount of work in a short amount of time...body building lets you lift more weight and look bigger.. one isn't better than the other, just gives you different results
This guy is doing body weight squats and he is calling people like me a pussy? Really? How about those of us who understand a well rounded workout routine and do weight work as well as crossfit, plyometrics, bodyweight, etc? If you don't need to take breaks in the gym, your doing it wrong. The body needs breaks for almost every workout type.
"1st rep: 20 pullups" doesn't make sense. 1 pullup = 1 rep. I think this guys means set. Anyways, not bad. These guys seem like pretty good athletes, I wonder how they would fare doing actual pullups with a wider front hand grip and without the ridiculous amount of swing.

@dilstheman Don't judge a book by it's cover man. While that guy will never grace the cover of a fitness magazine clearly has better core stability and upper body strength than the average Joe. The fact he can do muscle ups on rings and handstands/handstand presses suggest good core stability and upper body strength. Back when I was in the Army I knew a couple of guys with his body type who'd wipe the floor with their leaner counter parts come a PT session.

He wouldn't last very long in a training regime different from his own, which is why he will never be well rounded. I like their style of workout, but the squats are too fast. Steady paces, proper form. That's the real key.

not a bad workout. however, Im a college wrestler and the gym serves me for my strength increase very nicely with a 425 bench max and a 530 squat. But I also love cross fit a circut workouts i can run 10 miles in 55:42 and 3 in 15:48. All being 5'6 and weighing 184 pounds. So all workouts are equal for different reasons they are only as easy as you make them.

thats not necesarely true. not because you go to the gym youre a pussy. not everyone does the same thing in the gym and it depends on the needs. Im an athlete and the gym is an important part of my training.
